MemberThanks a ton, Matthew! I’ll add that to the notes in the notes to make sure that gets noted as well. 🙂

MemberYeah, absolutely! It is coming from the tribe-events.min.js. The source file, though, is tribe-events.js and tribe_ev.tooltips() is the called method.

MemberHey Karly,
Will you please installing this plugin (zip)? Our developer whipped it up as a possible patch and I’m hoping it will do the trick. Let me know if it does!

MemberThanks Douglas!
Would be willing to share the Facebook Event ID of the events you are importing? I want to see if I get the same errors now that I see we are testing with the same calendar versions.
Thanks!

MemberThanks for doing that!
Yeah, no need to both with disabling add-ons if switching the theme did the trick.
I don’t see any obvious conflicts off the bat and, honestly, it’s a little tough for me to troubleshoot since it seems to be triggered by something in the theme. Do you have any other clues as far other recent updates to the site? I can try to help as best I can!
Thanks,

MemberHi SA,
Sorry for the rouble here!
Are you able to try adding this to your custom styles:
.tribe-events-button, #tribe-events .tribe-events-button {
background-color: #000; /* or whatever color 🙂 */
}I think the difference is the use of background-color versus background. The current style uses background-color so using that would be more effective in overriding the style.
Let me know if that helps do the trick!

MemberThis is so weird! Thanks for bearing with me while we look into it together.
Do you have access to an FTP application? I would be curious to see what happens if we manually install the plugin directly to the same folder as the rest of those plugins.

MemberHey Will,
I see what you mean! I just visited your site and see that the tooltips are not activated on hover when in Month View.
Just to be sure, have you updated both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO to 4.0? The reason I ask is that the tooltips appear to work for me on my test site (screenshot), so I want to make sure we’re both running the same versions.
If you are totally updated and still see the issue, it would be helpful if you could run through the steps outlined in this article so we can tell if there is a conflict coming from somewhere else.
Let’s start here and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberSure! You can access the files by accessing your site via FTP. Once you’re in, the plugin is located in /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar
If you’re having trouble accessing the files on your server, I would recommend connecting with your host to get that access.

MemberHey Sergey,
Thanks for using Event Tickets! I hope you’re enjoying it so far, despite the issue here with styling.
Do you notice the same issue when using a default WordPress theme? I get a good amount of styling when using Twnety Fifteen (screenshot), so I’m wondering if perhaps the theme you are using is overriding those styles.
Let me know if that appears to be the case when you test a default theme. If you’re still seeing the issue, we can dig deeper from there.
Cheers!

MemberHi @gregy,
Sorry for the trouble here–let’s see if we can figure this out together.
Have you updated The Events Calendar and the other add-ons to 4.0? Everything should be running 4.0 to ensure full compatibility.
As far as the database goes, you could delete Facebook Events from your plugins folder, reinstall it and no data will be lost from the calendar. That information will continue to be retained in The Events Calendar data, even without Facebook Events. You shouldn’t have to delete Facebook Events to perform the update to 4.0 though.
When you update the plugins to 4.0, please try doing so all at once, either as a Bulk Update in WordPress or manually installing the updates together via FTP. That should help with a smooth transition as well.
Let’s start here and see what we find.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi @ranga and welcome to the forums! I hope you’ve been enjoying Events Calendar PRO and Filter Bar so far. 🙂
Good question. I imagine it would be possible, but know it would take a fair amount of custom development to accomplish.
That said, there is a tooltip in list view for recurring events and you may be able to use that as a starting point.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete answer for you, but I hope this helps get you started in the right direction!
Thanks,

MemberHey Thomas, welcome to the forums!
Sure, that sounds possible. You can override the Countdown Widget template and add your spaces there.
To do this:
- Make a copy of the template. It’s located in /plugins/events-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/countdown-widget.php.
- Make a new folder in your theme directory called tribe-events
- Make a folder inside that one called pro
- Make a folder inside that once called widgets
- Drop the copied template in that folder
Now that the template is in your theme, it can be customized to suit you needs. In this case, add the spaces in there where the time indicators are and the changes should take hold. We have more details on template overrides in our Themer’s Guide which I’d recommend checking out as well.
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey folks, thanks for reaching out!
We did recently move the Facebook Importer into the general Import screen (screenshot). Do you happen to see it there in 4.0 or is still missing?
Thanks!
