MemberYou will actually need two other plugins:
- Event Tickets Plus: This gives you the ability to create tickets for your events
- WooCommerce: This is the eCommerce platform that allows you you and your guests to sell tickets through a checkout system.
Does this help? Let me know if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help. π

MemberHi Lin,
Are you possibly able to leave your site in the default conditions from the conflict test (Twenty Fifteen theme and deactivate all other non-Modern Tribe plugins) so we can see the issue? We’ve still been unable to replicate the issue on our end in those conditions–doesn’t mean the issue isn’t there, but we need to find the source of it and starting at the same default condition will help us get there.
If that’s not feasible, then would you be able to set up a fresh test site with nothing but the Twenty Fifteen theme, The Events Calendar, PRO, Filter Bar and Community Events so we can test from there?
Thanks!

MemberHi Yani,
Yes, as long as the email address for the PayPal account aligns with the WordPress profile. Check out this article for a complete overview of how payments are configured in Community Tickets.
Cheers!

MemberHi Yani,
Good question. Unfortunately, there is no way to charge for events submitted via Community Events at the moment–though it is something we are looking into.
For now, the only way to charge for events is by using Community EventsΒ and Community Tickets, which would allow guests to create and sell tickets for the events they create. You can charge a few per sale from there.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks!

MemberPlease try removing those temporarily to see if that helps with the notices. We have deprecated a lot of classes and functions (changelog) and it is possible the customizations conflict with what’s new.
Thanks!

MemberHey Gordon,
Thanks for bearing with us! Yes, you can create completely custom recurring event patterns with Events Calendar PRO. It might take a bit of tweaking with your specific example, but you could create a daily recurrence that ends at the latest event date excludes all days except for the ones where the event occurs.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks!

MemberHi Lisa,
I wonder if that update did not address this particular issue. Our team unfortunately does not manage the Category Colors plugin, so alerting the developers of the issue will be the best starting point. And, of course, I’m happy to help answer any questions that come up during that process.
Thanks!

MemberHey Douglas,
Do you happen to have any snippets that you’ve used to modify the calendar in the past, or perhaps have any customized calendar templates? That seems to be a notice related to legacy code that is no longer in the latest versions.
Thanks!

MemberHey Ryan,
Interesting question! There is not a way to do this right out of the box, I’m afraid. I believe it would require touching the core files where the post types are registered in order to do that, which I wouldn’t recommend doing–mostly because those changes will get lost in future updates.
That’s a cool idea though. Would you mind adding it to our feature request forum? It would be interesting to see how many other people would like it as well.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete answer, but does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey Lisa,
Thanks for the screencast–that was well done and super helpful!
Looks like this is a conflict with the Category Colors plugin, which likely needs to be updated to be compatible with The Events Calendar 4.0. Would you be willing to open up a ticket on the support forum? The plugin author will likely be able to troubleshoot this much easier than we could here.
Let’s start there–please let me know if any questions pop up that I help answer from this end and I’d be happy to!
