MemberHi Chris,
Great question.Β The best way to get an external ticket URL would be the additional features in Events Calendar PRO. In other words, PRO includes a way for you to add more fields to the event editing screen and you could make one specifically for an external ticket URL.
At the same time, you may be able to get the same functionality out of Advanced Custom Fields instead and that would save you an additional license.
That’s how I would go about it. Does that make sense for you as well? Let me know. π

MemberHi Sonya,
You can add something like this to yourΒ styles.css file or by using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS:
.single-tribe_events .tribe-events-schedule .tribe-events-cost, .single-tribe_events .tribe-events-schedule .tribe-events-divider { display: none; }Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey Brett,
First off, welcome to the forums! I hope you’ve been enjoying the plugins so far and I appreciate your support. π
Great question. The bad news is that global stock for tickets is not a supported feature at this time. However, we are indeed working very hard on this and plan to roll it out very soon. It’s slated to go out in our 4.1 release, barring some unforeseen issues–so keep your eyes peeled!
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberI wonder if it would make a difference if you switched your timezone from America/Edmonton to the UTC equivalent (UTC-7). That might add more consistency to have the timezone is handled and allow you to create new recurring events that link properly.

MemberI’m afraid wait lists are not currently included in 4.0. That is a popular item over on our feature request forum and–while the Event Tickets plugin itself could sort of be used as a wait-list–the feature of waitlisting in;t something we’ve slotted into an upcoming release just yet. The best bet would be to add your vote to the feature request because that will allow you to receive alerts when there are updates to the feature status.

MemberHi Doug,
Why would we NOT need the pro version of the Calendar?
Events Calendar PRO comes with a lot of additional features for The Events Calendar, but tickets is not one of them. In other words, it is not needed specifically for ticket sales, but you can certainly use it for the other features it includes.
I just need to know what we actually require to setup commerce for ticket sales to events.
The of plugins in my last reply is exactly what you need from us in order to set up commerce for ticket sales to events.
And, if Events Tickets replaces WooTickets then why have you continued to charge us for both??
We don’t charge you for both. If you have purchased WooCommerce Tickets in the past, then we have automatically added Event Tickets Plus to your account at no additional charge. The license for WooCommerce Tickets will not renew in the next cycle once it has expired. Let me know if that has not been the case for you.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff

MemberGood question. I don’t have a solid timeframe for when tickets will be able to support recurring events, but we are aiming for it to be included in our 4.2 release. We’re still scoping out that release and things could certainly change between now and then but that’s the hope at the moment.
