MemberHowdy MD!
Hmm, I checked my own settings using the latest versions and was unable to create the same issue.
Here’s a screenshot of my “Default country” settings in Events > Settings > Default Content.
And here’s a screenshot of what I see in the event editor when creating a new event.
Note that in the first screenshot, I also have no default venue selected. Do you happen to have a default venue? If so, set that back to no default and see if it makes a difference.
Thanks!

MemberHey Geoff — always nice to meet another Geoff. 🙂
Would you be willing to send me a couple bits of information:
- You system information. You can grab that at Events > Settings > Help and copy and paste it here as a private reply.
- A screenshot of the ticket settings for that event. I want to check for a couple of things that could help explain the issue.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Meg and welcome back! Sorry for the trouble here with tickets–let’s see what’s going on.
First off, would you be willing to send me a link to an event where you’ve created tickets but they are not showing up? If you could also send me a screenshot (via Dropbox or some other screenshot sharing app) of the ticket settings for that event, that will help me out a ton.
Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHowdy Jacqueline and thanks for getting in touch!
That’s a good question. Normally, I would suggest two plugins:
- Event Tickets (free)
- Event Ticket Plus
Those together will allow you to create and sell tickets and attach them to any page or post. Or, if you use The Events Calendar, you can attach them to an event post instead.
The only hitch is that the plugins are currently unable to collect additional information during checkout besides basic billing information. In other words, I’m afraid that selecting a dinner plan is not possible, though we are working on that sort of feature in an upcoming release.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know if you need any other information and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberSure thing, Kostas!
As a general update: please be on the lookout for a new release to ship this week–likely by Wednesday if things go according to plan.
Thanks,

And, if you’re at all interested in premium support, I’d encourage you to pick up a license for Events Calendar PRO. It comes with a year of access to these support forums which are checked daily.
Thanks!

MemberHello @listlove,
Sorry for the trouble here with installing the update to Events Calendar PRO!
IÂ looked up your account and see that the plugin’s license is currently registered to:Â www.livelovelovelife.be
When I visit your site, though it looks like the calendar is installed on:Â http://www.livelovelovelife.org
Are you trying to install the PRO update to one site and not the other? You can move your license key from one site to the other by following the instructions outlined in this article. Please note that the plugin can be installed on as many sites as you want, but the license key can only be registered to a single site at the Personal license level. Either way, the plugin will work with or without the license key.
Thanks!

MemberHowdy April,
Love the avatar! That’s super awesome. 🙂
Good question. Free and paid tickets are listed together in Event Tickets Plus. Here’s a screenshot of how that looks.
Does this help give you a better idea of how the tickets work?
Cheers!

MemberHey Nick,
Awesome! Thanks so much for the kind words–I’m stoked to hear you’re loving the plugin so far. 🙂
The calendar uses the time format settings from WordPress, so you can set that up in the Settings > General from the WordPress dashboard.
Cheers!

MemberHi Bill and thanks for reaching out!
It looks like you should be able to add this to your theme’s style.css file or using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS:
#et-main-area { background: #fff; }Please give that a try and let me know if it does the trick. 🙂
Cheers!
