tickets for dinner event

I know there is probably an answer for this in your facts, forum, or showcase but I feel like I am going around in circles looking.
We are planning a dinner theater. There will be multiple entree choices and three ticket types. Individual ticket, price per couple (two), and table of 8 purchase. Besides gathering the ticket purchasers name, email, etc. we need to know the purchasers guest list and the dinner choice for each person attending.

So far I have set up three tickets with variables for the dinner choices in woo commerce using paypal. But we would like to have tickets sent to them automatically and easy check-in.

Which word press plug-ins would we need to do all of this and what are the costs. We would only need them for one website.

That’s a good question. Normally, I would suggest two plugins:

• Event Tickets (free)
• Event Ticket Plus

Those together will allow you to create and sell tickets and attach them to any page or post. Or, if you use The Events Calendar, you can attach them to an event post instead.

The only hitch is that the plugins are currently unable to collect additional information during checkout besides basic billing information. In other words, I’m afraid that selecting a dinner plan is not possible, though we are working on that sort of feature in an upcoming release.
