    Hey Mat,

    Thanks for getting in touch and for following up on your question!

    Yes, Event Tickets Plus would be required to create different paid tickets for an event with a specific number of tickets available for that event. Here’s a good overview of the ticket creation process in Event Tickets Plus and how multiple paid tickets for an event works.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Hi Alberto,

    Great question! Each event in a recurring series is not counted as duplicated content in search engines. The calendar provides structured data markup that allows the events to be correctly read and recognized as individual events. In other words, these are not looked at as duplicate posts, but unique events.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Hey Chris — thanks for checking out our plugins!

    You know, I have seen a few reported issues with The Events Calendar and Beaver Builder working together before, but nothing in the last several months. Either those issues have been ironed out or the issues still exist but are not being reported.

    That said, I know we have reached out to the Beaver Builder team and tried working on some deeper integrations with our products, but it will take changes in both plugins to make it happen. I think the specific sticking points were about the use of calendar shortcodes in Beaver Builder.

    In short, I think there will be limitations between the two plugins, but am not aware of what those might be. For what it’s worth, I think testing first with the free The Events Calendar plugin is a good starting point to test compatibility. If things work well with The Events Calendar, then Events Calendar PRO should be good since PRO is an extension of the free version.

    If PRO conflicts in any way whatsoever, we do have a nice refund policy and we’d be happy to let you return the plugin within 30 days of purchase.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Sinai,

    Glad my last reply helped!

    I’m afraid that what you’re describing with the breadcrumbs is expected behavior. You could theoretically override the template file and replace that link with one of your own that goes to the user’s last viewed page instead of All Events. However, that link does indeed go to All Events right out of the box.

    Hey Jason, thanks for trying that out!

    It’s very possible that the CSS for the theme simply conflicts with the CSS for the plugin. It looks like you should be able to add this to your theme’s style.css file or by using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:

    .tribe-events-style-theme {
    background-image: url("http://kettlevalley.ropchan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/slide-1.jpg");
    }

    Once you do that, the background image will show through the calendar grid since the grid is transparent. You can resolve that by adding this:

    #tribe-events-content .tribe-events-calendar td {
    background: #fff;
    }

    Here is a screenshot of how it should look once that is done.

    Cheers!

    Hey Heather, sorry about that — looks like the code formatting isn’t playing nicely in this thread.

    Let’s give this a try in a Gist snippet instead. Here’s what you should be able to use in the template:

    Will this do the trick? I sure hope so, but please let me know if it continues to be fussy.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jason, hope you had a great weekend!

    Will you please try heading to Events > Settings > Display from the WordPress admin and changing the Events Template option (screenshot) to one of the theme’s page templates?

    Give that a try and let me know if it makes a difference. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Katrina,

    Great question! Our plugins do allow you to take event submissions from visitors and provide them a way to collect payment for the tickets they create. Here’s the configuration I would suggest:

    • The Events Calendar (free) – This provides the basic calendar where events will be displayed once they have been submitted.
    • Community Events – This adds a submission for to the front end of your site so visitors can submit events to the calendar.
    • Event Tickets (free) – This provides the basic functionality to create free tickets for events.
    • Event Tickets Plus – This connects Event Tickets with WooCommerce to allow you to create paid tickets for events and accept payments for those tickets.
    • Community Tickets – This connects Community Events with both Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce so that visitors submitting events to your calendar can create paid tickets for those events. It also allows you to split the payment with them so that you can collect a fee for the tickets that are sold.

    We actually have something called the Community Manager package that bundles those paid plugins together at a discounted price. I’d definitely suggest checking that out if this sounds like the functionality you’re looking for.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Wee Yang,

    Great question. You can transfer your plugin license from one site to another anytime by following the steps outlined in this post:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/

    That will allow you to access both plugin updates and support for the site that you move the license to. The site that used to have the license will continue to work but will not have access to plugin updates or support. You can however, manually install the plugin updates, if needed.

    Does this help explain things a bit? Please let me know. 🙂

    Oh gosh, so sorry! It looks like the code I pasted got converted into strange characters. Here’s what it should be:

    <span id="<?php echo esc_attr( $mini_cal_widget_id ) ?>"><a href="<?php tribe_get_events_link() ?>"<?php tribe_events_the_mini_calendar_title() ?></a></span>

    Does that work any better? Please let me know.

    Cheers,
    Geoff
