    Hi Matt,

    Sorry for the trouble here with events reimporting from Facebook! That is actually the way the plugin is designed to work. You can, however, prevent unwanted events from re-importing by changing those events to Draft status instead of trashing them. The plugin will see that the events have already been imported and will skip right over them as long as they are in Draft status.

    Cheers!

    in reply to: "Photo" View Image Resolution? #1152207

    Hey Sara, welcome back to the forums!

    Good question. The best way to do it is to use a larger image. The images in Photo View will automatically scale down to fit to fit the space if the actual image file is large and that will provide a richer image.

    For example, here is one of your images:
    http://www.oplhmb.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Perro_Bravo-1-194×300.png

    I would suggest replacing that with the same image, but about double the size.

    Cheers!

    Hello Colleen, thanks for writing in!

    Yes, the featured image will indeed be included when an event is imported into The Events Calendar using the Facebook Events add-on.

    And, yes, the image that you set for a recurring event in Events Calendar PRO will be set for all the events in that series — definitely no need to set that image manually for each event. 🙂

    Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hi Jeri,

    I am so sorry, I gave you bad information. I was checking in with a colleague of mine and confirmed that this feature is actually planned for version 4.4 — I apologize for the wrong info!

    It looks like we are still ironing out the specific details for how the feature is going to work. On a positive note, I did share your use case with the team so that it can be considered as development starts.

    Geez, I’m so sorry for the bad news on a timeframe here, but does this at least help? Please let me know if you have any other questions and I’d be more than happy to help as best I can.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

    Perfect, thanks a ton!

    Trying adding something like this to your theme’s style.css file or using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:

    #tribe-events .tribe-events-button {
    background-color: #5cc4b7; /* or whatever color you'd like! */
    }

    Will that do the trick? Please let me know. 🙂

    Hi Orla, thanks for getting in touch!

    Great question and the answer is yes — it is definitely possible to add an ACF field to the email template. I just tested it out and was able to get it in there with this:

    <?php
    if(get_field('webinarLink')) {
    echo '<a href="' . get_field('webinarLink') . '">Register Now!</a>';
    }
    ?>

    It’s worth noting that you will need to place that code where you would like the link to appear in the template. 🙂

    Will this work for you? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hey Jeri, thanks for reaching out!

    Yes, I see that the recurring tickets feature is slated to come out in our 4.3 release — and we’re working really hard on that right now. 🙂

    I don’t have a firm date for it, but our schedule shows that it should be somewhere in the first couple of weeks in September.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hi Christine,

    I’d be happy to help out! Would you be willing to show me which button you are referring to with a link to where I can see it? That will give me exactly what I need to give you some CSS to change it up.

    Thanks!

    Sure thing, Marcus! I went ahead and submitted the refund and the funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.

    Thanks so much for working with me on this! I never like giving bad news but I really appreciate your positivity and willingness to stick with us — you’re the best! 🙂

    Thanks for testing that out, Peter! I’m sorry to hear there’s a theme conflict, but I am also glad to know that the plugin is working smoothly on its own in a default environment.

    I’ve worked with the Theme Fusion team (the authors of Avada) and they’re really great. I bet if you open a support thread in their forum they would be more than happy to check out the issue and look for a solution for you.

    It’s tough to recommend theme because there are so many and we do most of our testing against standard WordPress themes. That said, I would suggest trying any theme with both the free versions of The Events Calendar and Event Tickets — if the theme works with those, then it is likely they will work very well with Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus as well.

    I’ll leave this thread open in the meantime in case any other questions about the issue come up that we can help answer. 🙂

    Cheers!

    There probably is a way to do it with modifications to the code, but I believe it would take a hefty amount of custom development–and likely changes to the core plugin–to make it happen.

    Sorry I don’t have a workaround for you here, but does this at least help give you an idea of what’s available in the plugin? Let me know if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help as best I can.

    Thanks!

    Great questions!

    To be completely honest, I have not personally tested The Events Calendar with any membership plugins. I tried looking to see if others had success with Membership Pro, but I was unable to find anything specific to that plugin. I did see some success stories with other membership-related plugins, including Restrict Content Pro.

    That said, I’m purely going off of other threads and reports and the best means to tell for sure is to test the compatibility on your site. I’ll also point out that we do offer a full refund on all products within 30 days of purchase for just such an occasion, though I would think that testing with the free version of The Events Calendar would be adequate as well.

    Cheers!

    Hi George,

    So glad tickets are now showing up! That’s awesome news.

    Just to clarify, Event Tickets Plus is not linked with Eventbrite. Instead, it connects to an ecommerce plugin (like WooCommerce), which you can then use to accept PayPal payments. Here is more information on all of the ecommerce plugins Event Tickets Plus is compatible with and tips for configuring the settings for each one:
