    Hi there,

    Sure thing! I have submitted a refund for Order #1151655 and the funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.

    Thanks for continuing to use Events Calendar PRO. If you are interested in further integrating with Eventbrite, then you might be interested in our Eventbrite Tickets add-on instead of Event Tickets Plus. Eventbrite Tickets will sync your events between The Events Calendar and Eventbrite.com and allow you to display your Eventbrite tickets on your site.

    Cheers!

    Hi Bill, thanks for following up!

    Quite the contrary — Event Tickets is a completely free plugin that will send attendees an email confirmation upon RSVP’ing for an event.

    If you need something more flexible than that–such as custom registration fields–then you would certainly need to look into Event Tickets Plus, which is a paid extension. But, I would recommend starting out with Event Tickets and see if that covers all your needs before spending on anything else. For example, Event Tickets will allow you to limit the number of tickets per event and you can certainly hide the quantity field with some CSS without the need for the premium extension.

    how can I edit the CSS on the main calendar page?

    You can either add styles directly to your theme’s style.css file or follow the steps outlined in our Themer’s Guide to override the calendar’s styles with your own CSS file.

    Does this help clarify things a bit more? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Mark — welcome to the forums and thanks so much for using the plugins! I really hope you enjoy them. 🙂

    Good question. Events Calendar PRO actually does not have registration capabilities. However, our other free plugin, Event Tickets, does and it integrates directly into The Events Calendar:

    Event Tickets and Registration

    Once Event Tickets is installed and activated, that will allow you to take sign-ups for events and limit the capacity of each event. If you are interested in having custom registration fields on top of that, then we do have Event Tickets Plus as an add-on that can provide that as well.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Ray, thanks for getting in touch!

    I’m afraid manually editing the order of tickets isn’t something the plugin currently supports. However, you can change the order based on price or title using the snippet examples in this post:

    Change the Order of Displayed Tickets

    Will this work for you? Please let me know.

    Hey there and welcome back! Hope you’re doing well. 🙂

    Try adding this to your child theme’s style.css file:

    .tribe-events-schedule h2 {
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    If you would also like to remove the extra spacing above and below the text, then you could use this instead:

    .tribe-events-schedule h2 {
    font-size: 14px;
    margin: 0;
    }

    Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when I tested it out. Will that work for you as well? Please let me know.

    Hi Reggie,

    Great question! There is actually a way to share events between two sites. If both sites are using The Events Calendar, then you can install our iCal Importer add-on on one site and set that to fetch events from the other site on an automatic basis.

    This will even work if only the one site is running The Events Calendar. iCal Importer can fetch events from any online calendar, as long as that other calendar has a valid iCal feed to pull from. In fact, here are a few posts that go into greater detail on how to pull events into The Events Calendar from other sites using iCal Importer.

    Does this sound like it will work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Robert, welcome back to the forums!

    What you’re describing is correct — the Month View is responsive by default and scales down on smaller screens so that full event titles are no longer displayed in the calendar grid, but as dots on dates that have events with those events listed below the calendar grid.

    If you would prefer to remove the small screen view altogether, then you can add this line to your theme’s functions.php file and the full size calendar will be the default view for all screen sizes:

    add_filter( 'tribe_events_kill_responsive', '__return_true');

    There are also more ways of customizing the responsiveness of the calendar detailed here in this post.

    Will this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Bill and thanks for writing in — I also appreciate the summary of thread you checked out!

    Here’s a snippet that should do the trick. It is specifically targeted to the WooCommerce order email:

    https://gist.github.com/geoffgraham/50b93c7db1791b213dedfa9ac7a01322

    Add your custom text inside the quotes in this line:

    $text = "";

    If you leave it blank, then the message will be hidden. If you fill it in, then it will return what you place in there. Here’s a screenshot of the changed text when I tested it out.

    Will this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Oh shoot, sorry for the continued trouble here!

    I’ll definitely keep this thread open while you await support with ACF — do note that our system automatically closes threads after three weeks of inactivity, but I don’t think that will be an issue. 🙂

    If it helps, I can confirm that I was testing the following:

    • Created a new ACF group
    • Create a new URL field called webinarLink and attached the field to the Events post type
    • Created a new event post, including a link added to the webinarLink ACF field
    • Added the snippet of code I provided in my first reply to the following template: /plugins/event-tickets/src/views/event-tickets/tickets/email.php
    • Made a test purchase of a ticket
    • Received the email confirmation, which included a link to “Register Now!” (screenshot)

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Christine,

    Oh shoot, sorry that didn’t work!

    It sounds like it needs to be tweaked just a bit. Try this instead:

    #tribe-events .tribe-events-button {
    background-color: #5cc4b7 !important;
    }

    Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when I test it out. Let me know if it does the trick for you as well!

    in reply to: "Photo" View Image Resolution? #1152553

    Hi Sara,

    So sorry if I’ve contributed to the added confusion!

    Yes, a larger image file will result in a larger image on the event post, which I think you found out when making the new image:

    http://www.oplhmb.com/event/punky-reggae-party-perro-bravo-burnt-special-guest/

    That’s ok though, because now we can use CSS to modify the dimensions of the image on the event post. For example, try adding this to your theme’s style.css file:

    .tribe-events-event-image img {
    max-width: 150px; /* or whatever size you would like */
    }

    That will scale the image down so that it fits the page a little better. Here’s a screenshot of how it looks when I tested it out.

    Will that do the trick? Please let me know. 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hey Andy and welcome to the forums!

    Yes, custom registration fields is definitely possible in Event Tickets Plus. That will allow you to create fields for users to complete for each ticket they purchase.

    And, yes, there is an option to export and download the information for all the attendees of your events into a CSV file, including the information they completed in the custom registration fields. Here is more info on how that works.

    Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!
