Share events between two calendar installations

We are looking to purchase the Event Calendar Pro plugin and would like to know if the ability to share events between two calendars on two different websites is possible. We would like to manage the calendar on one site and display it on both. Can that be done with an event export / import?

Hi Reggie,

Great question! There is actually a way to share events between two sites. If both sites are using The Events Calendar, then you can install our iCal Importer add-on on one site and set that to fetch events from the other site on an automatic basis.

This will even work if only the one site is running The Events Calendar. iCal Importer can fetch events from any online calendar, as long as that other calendar has a valid iCal feed to pull from. In fact, here are a few posts that go into greater detail on how to pull events into The Events Calendar from other sites using iCal Importer.
