MemberHowdy Alain, nice to see you again!
That’s a great question. There are a couple of ways to override the CSS for Community Events.
The more technical way is to:
- Create a new file called:Â tribe-events-community.css
- Create a new folder in your theme/child theme folder called tribe-events
- Create a new folder in that one called community
- Add the new CSS file to that last folder
- Start replacing styles in there!
The less technical way to do it would be to check out the Simple Custom CSS plugin — once activated, that will allow you to add custom styles right from there without moving any files around. 🙂
Will this work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi Luis, thanks for getting in touch!
Yes, it is indeed possible to translate the names of days and months, both with an without a plugin. You can use the Say What? plugin for on-the-spot translations, or you can customize any of the language files that already come with The Events Calendar.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Colleen,
So sorry for the trouble here! There is indeed a bug in our checkout process that prevents an item to be added to the cart if a bundle is also in the cart. We’re looking into it but, for the moment, it will take two separate purchases to get both the Importer Bundle and Community Events.
Again, so sorry for the glitch here, but will this at least help out? Please let me know.
Cheers,

MemberHey Alfred,
Great question! And, yes, that is a good use case for Event Tickets Plus and, in fact, does not require Events Calendar PRO at all since multiday events are already possible in The Events Calendar. So, you would set up a single event that spans four days and create tickets for that event.
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Robin and thanks for checking out the plugins! I really hope they’re a great fit for your project. 🙂
While the bundles are not configurable beyond what they currently offer, we do occasionally have other promotions and discounts available and we announce those in our email newsletter and on Twitter, which is a good way to be the first to know about them.
But, please go ahead and email us at support [at] theeventscalendar.com and reference this thread — I think we might be able to figure something out for you we can do that together over email.
Cheers and see you in the inbox!

MemberHi Jim and thanks for getting in touch!
We do indeed have a nonprofit program available where, if accepted, you can get a free copy of either Events Calendar PRO or Event Tickets Plus for your project, plus discounts for other premium plugins:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/
Defintely give that a look and let me know if you have any questions as you dig into the application. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Alain,
Thanks for following up and for clarifying! I totally see what you’re going for now, though I am afraid that would require much more custom development to accomplish.
I’m happy to help point you in the right direction, if I can, but we also have a list of freelancers who we would happily recommend for this level of help.
That said, you can find the template for the organizer form here:
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-organizer.phpOur themer’s guide provides detailed steps on how to override and customize templates. Our documentation is also available for reference.
I’m sorry I don’t have another workaround for you here, but I hope this at least help get you started in the right direction.
Thanks!

MemberHi Kent,
Absolutely! Event Tickets Plus does indeed include an option to either display or hide a list of people who have registered for an event. Here is a screenshot of how that looks when someone has registered — please ignore the fact that it says three people but only displays one image, that’s just something I’ve been testing. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi Alain,
Great question!
Although it’s not perfect, adding this CSS to your theme’s style.css file or using the Simple Custom CSS plugin will remove all the organizer fields:
#tribe-community-events .tribe-community-event-info .linked-post,
.tribe-add-post, .chosen-container .chosen-results li:first-child { display: none; }Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when I tested it out. You’ll notice that the “Use New Organizer” label is still there by default, though it will not be an option that can be actively selected. Hopefully this at least helps get the ball rolling!
