MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
β’ If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
β’ If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product. Please include your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ so we can better help you.If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! π
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHey Kellsey
I wish I could answer this better for you. It looks like your theme is heavily customized to display data from our plugin. The front page looks sharp, but is not something we have control over. Can you check in with your theme developer to determine how to best edit that page?
Thanks

MemberHi there Justin
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to βspeakβ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changesΒ went live with little noticeΒ to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and βownβ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.
This is frustrating for you, and for developers like us.Β As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events.Β We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

MemberHi Mike
All functionality for Events Calendar Pro (and all our other plugins except Event Aggregator) will continue to work as it had up to your last available update. You will no longer receive updates or have access to the Help Desk.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Raymond
Displaying categories in that location is actually a function of your theme. Can you ask for support from them as well? https://themeforest.net/item/venue-x-simple-events-wordpress-theme/14754283/support
Please let me know if they are able to help you with that.
Thanks

MemberHey Tom
Can you try this using an alternate browser, incognito/private mode, and/or clearing your cache? I wonder if you are seeing some of this based upon that. I logged in just as a subscriber again to test and saw the tickets panel at the bottom of the page.
Thanks

MemberHi Cody,
That is correct. Each plugin is $89 for a personal license (install the plugin on 1 domain). $178USD for both. This will provide you with access to the Help Desk for technical support, as well as ongoing plugin development and updates for one year from purchase.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberWe’ve heard mixed results on this Denise. If events were imported up to 3 months in advance, they are on client sites. But no new events are being fetched or synced for most trying this workaround.
I do hope Facebook shares some updates soon on all this.
Thanks

MemberHi there James
Thanks so much for reaching out! I really wish I knew. What I can say is that Facebook had a developer application process in place for years and we were approved for that. They have since created a new submission process and we have applied, but have had no response. It looks to not include nearly as much access as we’ve had to FB Event data either.

MemberHi Cody
Events Calendar Pro and Community Events are separate purchases, correct.
When users submit events through Community Events, you can opt to have those events listed as a draft until you review them. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-community-events-submissions/ can help you with that. Administrator level accounts have permission to review draft posts.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

MemberHi Frank
The RSVP functionality is actually in Event Tickets which is supported at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/event-tickets.
Can you elaborate on clicking RSVP twice?
Thanks

MemberHi Jeff
At this time, we do not have a demo of the back end.Β However, you can see for a demo of the front end of our products.Β Check it out at WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/.Β
Read more at: Do you have a demo, examples I can see, or trial licenses?

MemberHi Kevin
We do not have that feature built in at this time. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it it http://tribe.uservoice.com.
However, you can use tools like http://ifttt.com or http://zapier.com to possibly achieve this.
https://theeventscalendar.com/automating-event-promotion-zapier/ is a good start to this.
Thanks
