MemberHi Paula
At this time, we have no confirmed workarounds. A few users report if they have personally expressed interest in an event and authenticated their site with their personal Facebook, it may work. However, those cases are still only getting fragments of the data that they really want. I really wish I had better news.
We will continue adding weekly updates to https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy.
Thanks

MemberHey Marko
You can change the “Events” term at Events > Settings > General > Events URL slug, as well as renaming your categories at Events > Event Categories.
If you want to customize these from a code approach, I’ll refer you to our Themer’s Guide. This will help you override our functionality without things breaking when we ship an update. Unfortunately, we’re limited in helping with customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey there Jaycen
I’m so sorry about this, but we have no record that your form was submitted. Can you resubmit your request?
Additionally, you can send a direct email of the same information requested in the form to
support [at] theeventscalendar [.] com
Thanks

MemberHey there Mark
Sadly we do not have the bandwidth to build a fully fledged bookings plugin right now. Our current focus is on ticketing and event management. This has been a hard decision for us to make, but this simply will not be on our roadmap for the foreseeable future. If something changes you all will be the first to know.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request.
You can suggest it at https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3695679-bookings-plugin-or-feature.
If you find a use for The Events Calendar or Events Calendar Pro, check out our non-profit program for the school. You can apply for our non-profit discount by completing the form at https://theeventscalendar.com/apply-for-npp.
⚠️Please Note: Licenses granted through this program do not include access to support. If you need in-depth support, please consider purchasing a regular license.

MemberHi there Riccardo
Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus do not manage tickets created with other systems, though our Eventbrite Tickets does connect to selling Eventbrite tickets within your site.
That said, you could still use one of our plugins for the ordering aspect and manually send the tickets after people have made purchases.
We do have our own extension that allows tickets purchased through our plugins to receive a PDF version: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/pdf-tickets/
Does that help clear things up?
Thanks

MemberWow that’s a good notice Tom. I’m glad you caught that. Hope you are well on your way now.
Thanks

MemberI do hope you are right Denise. This whole process is quite an ordeal.

MemberHey Warren
We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms. What I can do is to add this request to our queue of customization requests. We reserve those for when our forums are not busy, and do not have a particular timeframe to estimate responses.
Can I add you to the queue? It would unassign your thread from me and be in a waiting status until we have further availability.
Thanks

MemberHi Justin
Our developers will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/ as current with information that we know. Facebook has asked all developers who originally were submitted and approved for access several years ago to go through a similar resubmission. We have, and haven’t gotten a response. We really have no further information to share unfortunately at this time.
Thanks

MemberHi Stu
Google has begun requiring a credit card, but not actually charging for the maps. Learn more on how we are working through this at https://theeventscalendar.com/important-google-maps-api-changes/.
Without an API key, the map is likely to not display.

MemberHi Martina
Andras tells me he is assisting you with this topic on another thread. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/license-key-25/ I’ll close out this thread for now.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberHey there Martina
I see your account as having Event Tickets Plus, not Events Calendar Pro. Is this an error?
Also, when you install our plugins, the license should be automatically applied. Are you by chance trying to enter a license key in the field that says “Event Aggregator”?
Please let me know how I can further assist you.
Thanks

MemberHey there Jaycen
I’ll check in with our refunds representative about this now. I’ll update you shortly.

MemberHi there
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changes went live with little notice to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and ‘own’ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.
This is frustrating for you, and for developers like us. As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events. We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

MemberHey Warren
I want to be sure I’m following your question. I looked at a category on your site for a reference: https://testsite.frodsham.gov.uk/events/category/neighbourhood/2018-06/?tribe_events_cat=neighbourhood&tribe-bar-date=2018-06
At this time, our plugins by default will use the same view that your events page is set to.
You could override this. For that, you could see our Themer’s Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/ to get you started. If that is a bit too daunting, we recommend Find A Customizer https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/” to help.
We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Thanks
