    Hey Todd

Your renewal will extend your license a year from when it was set to expire, not from the date you renewed. Does that make sense?

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks

    Hi Jennifer

I’m sorry we aren’t of much help here. We do not host events but make tools for website owners to create events on their website. I do hope you find the answer you need soon.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross

We don’t do anything that would explicitly block Apple Pay. It really depends upon WooCommerce and how Woo checkout is configured. Since we are not using the product page for the tickets, it will not appear. However, if you’d like to use the product page, you can still do so: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/.

Does Apple Pay show with other products? Does you have a plugin that allows limiting checkout options per product category or something similar?

Do you use WooCommerce for the tickets or Tribe Commerce PayPal?

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks

    Hey Jon

Our refunds representative indicated we were unable to find your request. However, she just issued the refund now, so you should see it reach your account within 5-10 business days.

    Thanks

    Hi Meghan

There are 2 ways to go about this.

I’d recommend making a two tickets on the same event. One for $55, and the other as a “pair” for $100.

The other option would be if you want to manage this with a coupon, you could refer to your e-commerce plugin’s documents on coupon creation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/coupon-management/.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks

After checking in with the team, it looks like we were able to track this down as a reproducible bug.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.ย  I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as itโ€™s in the development teamโ€™s hands now.ย  They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.ย  The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.ย  Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

    Thanks

    Hi Abraham

Typically the Google Map information imports with the events. See https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/#events for that maps field.

Are you able to import events as a .csv?

I am checking in with the rest of the team to see if we have a faster way with venue imports and will let you know what I find.

    Thanks

Gotcha, I’m going to check in with the team to see if the Facebook image passing to your site works for anyone else at this time.

    Thanks

    Hi Jasmine

When you are editing your post, can you write some content in to the excerpt? http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-customize-wordpress-excerpts-no-coding-required/ is a good tutorial on this.

The start of your event posts has some HTML code, which is what you see displaying on the front page of your site in the excerpt area.

If you manually enter different information into the excerpt, that will display on the front of your site instead.

Let me know if this works for you.

Can you provide a link to the map view.

For the recurring events, can you go to Events > Settings > General > Recurring event instances and uncheck that? Let me know if this works too.

    Thanks

    Hi there Carolyn

Thanks so much for reaching out! I’m surprised that your imports are working at all.

Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to โ€˜speakโ€™ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.

As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changesย went live with little noticeย to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and โ€˜ownโ€™ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.

This is frustrating for you, and for developers like us.ย  As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events.ย  We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.

That said, the actual image from your site to be shared back to Facebook is a different issue. You’ll need to have Facebook Open Graph for images set up on your site. Usually, Facebook will use whatever you’ve set as the featured image in the right sidebar of your event editor panel. If it does not, this tutorial may help you get that completed: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-facebook-open-graph-meta-data-in-wordpress-themes/.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks
