MemberHi Maria
Can you check in Plugins » Installed to see if The Events Calendar appears and just needs to be reactivated?
Let me know if this works for you.
Thanks,
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberHi Ange
I’d recommend that the organization purchase it’s own license in this case. You can do this by visiting https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/.
After this, you’ll add your license key to Events » Settings » Licenses.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks,
Courtney 🙂April 6, 2017 at 12:43 pm in reply to: Can the Pro version do this example layout or is it custom CSS? #1266172Courtney
MemberHi Kevin
That site has quite a lot of customizations made to it. Some of that is Custom CSS, but even more of it appears to be using PHP as well. To learn about how to customize your site with our plugin as a source, take a preview at the Themer’s Guide.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks,

MemberHello Brett
I’ve clicked through to the link you’ve provided and do not see related events. Perhaps this is a matter of clearing your local browser cache?
Are you still seeing these?
Hoping to help you get this resolved.
Thanks,
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberHello Josianne
What about [tribe_events] isn’t working?
Unfortunately, The Events Calendar Shortcode Pro is a 3rd party plugin that we don’t support.
I am not seeing low-res photos on the /events page, either as list or photo view. Does it appear any better for you now?
To limit the display to specific dates, we don’t really have a shortcode to achieve that. However, I’d suggest you use a tag to narrow down those events only, and then using the shortcode:
[tribe_events_list tags=”#1024, #2048,]
The tag number can be found by going to Events » Tags. Then hover your mouse over the tag and look for the ID number in the browser footer.

The best way to filter categories is actually already built into Events Calendar Filter Bar. It can do a lot more than sorting categories as well. However, we aren’t able to custom build another solution at this time.
Is there anything else we can help you with? As usual, please allow 24-48 hours on weekdays for response times.
Thanks,

MemberHi Annie
Can you try adding this CSS code to your child theme or to Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS?
.tribe-bar-disabled #tribe-bar-form { margin-top: 40px; }Let me know if that works for you.
Thanks,

MemberHi Mike
I’m sorry you are still stuck. I hope we can get this resolved soon.
The option of last resort is to carefully and manually handle this via server-side settings. Have you tried to delete the plugin via ftp and drop tables in the database?
If you haven’t exhausted this method, let me know. I’ll send along more detailed steps on how to do this.
It might help to also know who your webhost is.
Thanks,

MemberHi Kim
Unfortunately I don’t have access to SmartMag so I cannot check this out further. Our policy is also to not log in to client websites. I have a hunch their backend theme admin is not following WordPress best practices and guidelines and that causes a conflict. It could still be worthwhile to talk to the theme developers.
In case you would like to downgrade, you can find the earlier versions here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/I’m sorry I can’t help on this further.
Please let me know if you find a better solution.

Can you send me a link to your community events page? I visited http://scenester.tv/events/community/add and it was an error.
Thanks,

MemberHello Wade
Can you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing? Here is the view I see. I’m hunting for the jumbled effect.

MemberHi Cara, that code indicates that the customizations make to that file are at fault. Can you privately share the code of that single-event.php file?
Thanks,

MemberHello Debra
Unfortunately, if it works with a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Fourteen, but not with your theme, then the best solution for help is to reach out to your theme’s support channels.
It sounds like something with the theme is conflicting with our plugin.
Can you let us know if they have any ideas?
Thanks,
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberHi Michele
The only solution that I can offer in the meantime is to ask if you can share the theme with us by posting a download link in a private reply.
Is that possible?
Thanks,
CourtneyCourtney
