    Hi:

I’m having a conflict with The Events Calendar and the Smartmag theme and just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I’m unable to edit the page-builder elements that come with Smartmag (and therefore my homepage) when The Events Calendar is activated. This is happening on both my test and live site and began after the latest Events Calendar update. I realize you probably can’t offer much support on this but I’m mentioning it in case you have any suggestions. They are unable to help. I will provide login details in a followup post. Thanks!

    Hi Kim

Unfortunately I don’t have access to SmartMag so I cannot check this out further.  Our policy is also to not log in to client websites.   I have a hunch their backend theme admin is not following WordPress best practices and guidelines and that causes a conflict. It could still be worthwhile to talk to the theme developers.

In case you would like to downgrade, you can find the earlier versions here:

I’m sorry I can’t help on this further.

Please let me know if you find a better solution.

    Thanks,
    Courtney 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
