ParticipantI am trying to set-up shortcodes to display my events in specific organization: Location based and date.
I thought by buying the pro I would be able to use the shortcodes [tribe_events] to display on anywhere on the site. This shortcode doesn’t work. So I went ahead and purchased The Events Calendar Shortcode Pro….and I can only get the one code to work and the display is not visually appealing! http://www.muskokayogafestival.com/schedule-1/
I tried all shortcodes provided in documentation and they don’t really work. Can you please help with that?
Also on the http://www.muskokayogafestival.com/event/ page the pictures are showing up in really low resolutions…sometime some of them are ok but most of the time they are all fuzzy….when you open the event the pictures show higher quality. Is this a glitch?? I have attached a screenshot.
Thanks

ParticipantMy client also asked if we could limit the events calendar to only display July 7-8-9 as those are the only dates. We do not need it to display any other dates.
Also for each events I have categories…could those categories be displayed at the top of the page? That way people could view by venues or by date or by what type of workshops they are looking for.
Under Keyword search, could we have a drop down with category suggestions?
Can you please work quickly as this is already live and my client is very impatient!
Thanks ๐

MemberHello Josianne
What about [tribe_events] isn’t working?
Unfortunately, The Events Calendar Shortcode Pro is a 3rd party plugin that we don’t support.
I am not seeing low-res photos on the /events page, either as list or photo view. Does it appear any better for you now?
To limit the display to specific dates, we don’t really have a shortcode to achieve that. However, I’d suggest you use a tag to narrow down those events only, and then using the shortcode:
[tribe_events_list tags=”#1024, #2048,]
The tag number can be found by going to Events ยป Tags. Then hover your mouse over the tag and look for the ID number in the browser footer.

The best way to filter categories is actually already built into Events Calendar Filter Bar. It can do a lot more than sorting categories as well. However, we aren’t able to custom build another solution at this time.
Is there anything else we can help you with? As usual, please allow 24-48 hours on weekdays for response times.
Thanks,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
