Can you help me know which plugin you are inquiring about? Importing events would be Event Aggregator. Is this what you had in mind?

Event Aggregator actually doesn’t need or use a multisite license. It is based upon the number of imports that the account uses, no matter how many sites it is installed on.

Did you have another plugin in mind?

I’m sorry you’re having difficulties. Can you help me further understand what is happening. It sounds like the back-end is working fine but that tickets aren’t displaying on the front end. Is that correct?

Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.  Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates). 

Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

Sorry for the confusion.  You should’ve received an email containing a link to download Events Calendar Pro and the license key. Also when the plugin installs, your license key should automatically be applied already.

Get your license key, and go to Events » Settings » Licenses to enter it.

It looks like you tried to do this, but might’ve entered it in the Event Aggregator field instead.

Would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?

Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.

Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code: define('WP_DEBUG', false); to this: define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)

If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.

If you don’t see any WP_DEBUG messages while browsing your site, could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Fifteen theme, and seeing if the issue persists.

If disabling the theme fixes it, we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict. Do you have any theme overrides for the Events Calendar? If so could you try disabling them by renaming your [themename]/tribe-events/ folder to ‘tribe-events-bak’. Did that fix it?

If the issue persists in the default Twenty Fifteen theme, then we have a different set of debugging steps. Please keep the Twenty Fifteen theme enabled, and also disable any plugins other than the ones from Modern Tribe to see if that fixes it. If it does, please try re-enabling the plugins one at a time until the issue resurfaces. When it does resurface, can you let me know which plugin caused that to happen?

In the meantime, I have thoroughly tested your site to find the same results you are experiencing.

An even faster approach to helping get this resolved would be if you can create a clean test site in a sub-directory with just TEC and no other plugins/only a default theme, add your EA key and see if the problem occurs there. That could point out if the issue is with your webhost.

The best way to automatically redirect would be to use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/. We do not provide support for that.

The bar you are referring to is the tribe bar, built in to The Events Calendar. Our other plugin, Filter Bar is a separate product.

To remove the Tribe Bar, can you add the following code to your child theme, or in Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS?

#tribe-events-bar {display: none !important;}

Does this resolve the issue?

The tiny featured image was a known bug impacting default WordPress themes that was fixed in a later version.

To look further into this, I’d need a link to this events page in photo view, along with your System Info.

Unfortunately, we can’t provide much help as this bug was later resolved.

With @mathewlewis help, I have finally replicated this as a bug and logged it. You’ll be notified here as soon as a solution is available. In the meantime, it seems as though you’ve got a good workaround solution by customizing the Featured Highlight Color.
