MemberHi Robin. I have checked the status of this bug report in our internal system and it’s not resolved yet. We don’t give ETAs, but I added this forum ticket to the list of tickets that should be updated once the fix is released. Thanks for your patience as we work hard to prioritize and fix bugs.

MemberExcellent!
Thanks for the feedback too.
I’m sure we’ll see you more on the forums once you get using the various add-ons. I wish you well!
Cliff
MemberYou need to have https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ installed. All our paid products are add-ons to that free core plugin.
Does that get things working for you?
October 29, 2015 at 7:22 pm in reply to: 404 errors on recurring events & cannot edit series #1020136Cliff
MemberThanks for checking with WP Engine and for all the system details.
I looked at line 1110 of /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence_Meta.php and see there is a foreach there referencing recurring event meta, which is the issue you’re experiencing.
The permalink should be something like http://ipscene.staging.wpengine.com/event/new-age-kurling/2015-10-01/ — yes, the slug part is missing from the URL.
Since you said it works when permalink settings are set to default (ugly URLs), please send me a screenshot of your current permalink structure.

MemberHi Brian. I understand your feedback and shared it with the team. For your reference, here’s our new knowledgebase article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/problems-with-minification/
If you have any new issues, please create a new ticket.
Thanks a lot.

MemberSam, that script is enqueued here: /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Asset/Ajax_Maps.php
You can use this snippet to force it to not load:
to force it to not load: https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/2c3412b0873843ffcfca
Let me know if it gets working for you.
Note: This would be a temporary fix as I’ve confirmed it as a bug with our developers. However, please make sure you’re using the latest version of the plugins, available here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
October 29, 2015 at 10:15 am in reply to: Events Calendar Pro 3.12.5 Settings not available #1019902Cliff
MemberHey Christopher. It sounds like something wonky happened. I’d suggest downloading a fresh copy from https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ and installing the .zip file via wp-admin plugin uploader/installer.
Let me know if that works for you.

MemberHi Sam. Sorry to hear about that issue. Thanks for reaching out to us about this.
I’m not getting the same issue on my test installation so there may be a conflict. There could be quite a few things that would lead to a plugin or theme conflict.
Would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.
Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.
Let us know what you find. 🙂
Cliff
MemberThanks for the quick reply letting me know your issue is resolved. Peace!

MemberHi Angie. Sorry you’re having these issues. I know tracking down redirects and 404s can be a headache.
Please review https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/ and let me know if that helps resolve anything.
October 29, 2015 at 9:57 am in reply to: All available event categories not showing on event creation template #1019867Cliff
MemberHi ITC. Thanks for the details and the screenshot.
I cannot replicate your issue. Here’s my screenshot, using the front-end form from our Community Events add-on, which is what I’m guessing you’re referring to. Notice there are more than 9 categories.

Please know that we do not provide support here for non-registered forum users. If you’ve purchased one of the paid add-ons, please post your issue in the appropriate forum category (not in pre-sales like this ticket).
If your issue is instead with the free version of the core plugin, you can post at the WordPress.org forum. Please pay attention to the sticky/highlighted posts before creating a new ticket there.
I hope this information helps! 🙂
Cliff
MemberHi Clive. I think you’ll need to set this in the WordPress settings, not in the Events settings.
Please see this help article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-first-day-of-the-week/
And let me know if that did the trick for you.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberHi Brian. Thanks for the details and even for linking to other threads. That’s always appreciated.
Yes, minifying scripts is known to cause some issues so our answer is to do as you have done: not minify The Events Calendar scripts.
Thanks to your question, we’re now working on a Knowledgebase article to state this.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.

MemberHi PeterMeyer.
I noticed the filter bar trying to work but then the results below it don’t seem to be any different — so, in your words, “doesn’t work”. 🙂
Could you try changing your “Datepicker Date Format” to “2015-01-15” and testing if that makes Filter Bar work?

Get to it from the Events Settings -> Display -> “Date Format Settings” section
(I’d expect the Filter Bar to work just fine with any of those settings but I thought it might just be something quick and easy to try.)
If it doesn’t help, I’ll have to suggest deactivating all non-Modern Tribe plugins and testing with the Twenty Fifteen theme and seeing if the issue persists.
Please let me know how it goes. Thanks.
Cliff
MemberHi Mad Dog. I hope to help resolve your issues.
Could you please provide more information so I can investigate further? For example, the link to where the error is happening, any custom code you have implemented, and your system information:
Make sure to use the “Set as private reply” checkbox to protect your private information from the public.
You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings, clicking on the “Help” tab, and scrolling down to the “System Information” box. (Or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-events-calendar&tab=help)
That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
