MemberThanks for the screenshot. You have the free/core version of The Events Calendar <i>Event List widget</i>.
With the PRO add-on activated, add the Event List widget and you’ll see the category options you’re wanting!
More info here: widgets and shortcodes
Let me know if you need anything else.

MemberChris, sorry the issue you reported wasn’t resolved prior to the WP 4.4 release. We have now tested and verified the conflict does happen with WP 4.4 so I’ve set this ticket to Pending Fix and you should get notified once the fix has been released. For now, the suggested workaround is to edit menus in the Theme Customizer.
Cliff
MemberThanks, Brian. And thanks Tommy for letting us know that worked for you.
It’ll definitely be updated soon (I’m hoping within a week or two at the latest but cannot provide an official ETA.)
Thanks!
Cliff
MemberRegarding your rtrim(), you might want to use these functions instead:

<li data-wpview-marker=”https%3A%2F%2Fcodex.wordpress.org%2FFunction_Reference%2Funtrailingslashit”>https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/untrailingslashit
In what file are you adding this button code and what’s the full code snippet?

MemberThanks for the video showing the Mac Calendar app adding it to your calendar at 8:15 am on the 15th (assuming your computer calendar is also set to Melbourne time zone).
We’ve seen a similar issue for several other scenarios so I have added this forum thread to our internal bug tracking. I’d hope a fix is out within 2 weeks but cannot guarantee it (we generally do not provide ETAs, I’m just saying it’s not something that will take forever to fix).
Sorry again that you’re experiencing this issue. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

MemberHi Oliver. I’ve been around a few months. Nice to meet you too. Thanks. 🙂
I didn’t exactly understand your “Nico tries to become a ‘Translation Editor’ to approve them. I hope a lot of the translation issues will disappear then.” Could you please re-phrase for me?
And thank you for your detailed 404 report. I believe I’ve seen this elsewhere but without as much explanation. Once I get the full understanding of this ticket, I may need to submit a new internal bug report or add this forum thread to an existing bug report.

MemberYour theme might still be loading the Google Maps script even when there’s no map rendered on the page (from your theme), which isn’t ideal but may be the case. You could try contacting your theme author and checking with them how to totally disable it when not in use on a page (e.g. more optimized loading of the script and/or using wp_deregister_script in a code snippet for your theme).
Please let me know how it goes for you.

MemberI might be able to help you better if you provide me with a link to each page you WOULD want it hidden on and a screenshot of where it’s appearing on each of those pages (to make sure I’m catching all instances of it).
Cliff
MemberSorry your automatic update hasn’t appeared yet. I’d suggest updating manually if it hasn’t shown up after 5 hours already. I don’t think it should take a minimum of 24 hours, but I’m uncertain.
Updating manually should be relatively painless to do.

MemberMatt,
Thank you for posting! In this forum we try to keep our threads focused on just one user’s problem. This ensures that we are addressing your specific problem instead of a general group one, and not possibly missing anything unique your situation.
To that end, would you mind opening up a new topic here about your issue? If you could please detail in your own words exactly what your problem is (instead of just linking here), that will go a long way toward helping you get this issue resolved as fast as possible. I hope you understand our reasoning here and do not mind this extra step, we have just found it serves our users best.

MemberHa ha. Thanks, Tommy.
I looked into it and Event Tickets already displays this information:

If this isn’t working for you, please let me know your thoughts on what you’d want to see.
Thanks!
Cliff
MemberI’ll take a look into the new code base and see if I can get something for you and Mindy (from previous thread).

MemberHi Tommy. Thanks for opening a new thread, including a link to that other thread, and including your system information.
From your sysinfo report, I see your WordPress timezone is set to “australia/melbourne”
I clicked the “Export Listed Events” button at https://singlesevents.melbourne/events/ and looked at the .ics file in my text editor. Th .ics file includes this text:
DTSTART;TZID="Australia/Melbourne":20160115T081500 DTEND;TZID="Australia/Melbourne":20160115T110000On your site, it displays the event from 7:15-10 PM, and the iCal export file’s DTSTART and DTEND get interpreted as:
Start 2016-01-15 08:15:00+11:00 End 2016-01-15 11:00:00+11:00Since Australia/Melbourne’s current time zone offset is UTC+11, I believe this is correct.
Could you please provide a screenshot or something else to show where/how the iCal export is being interpreted incorrectly (off by -8 hours)?
Thank you.

MemberHi Jaap. Thanks for linking to that KB article. It was missing an important step:
- go to the top right corner and click Screen Options
- check the box next to “Events”
- then you’ll see that metabox!
FYI: really it’s just a custom link anyway (not a “smart” link that stays updated if you change your Events slug in Settings. So you could just add it manually as a custom link if you prefer doing it this way.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with 🙂

MemberBen, I understand your concern with switching plugins at this time. I’ll reiterate my suggestion to use Event Tickets Plus instead of WooTickets (maybe after this important event passes). It even has the ability to check-in attendees via QR code scanning, if that’s of interest to you.
Anyway, for tackling this specific WooTickets issue, we’re not seeing other reports of this so please make sure you’re using the latest version of WooCommerce Tickets, which is version 3.12.1
Please send me a screenshot/screencast of your event tickets screen.
Please inform me if there have been any changes to your PayPal settings in WooCommerce (e.g. changing which email address is used in WooCommerce settings) or any other known recent changes that you can think of that might have any affect on certain attendee counts appearing or not appearing or that happened around the same time you noticed this issue.
Thanks.
