ParticipantI tried to add the calendar to the main menu, following your instructions. While there is a meta box called “event categories” there is none called “events”, so I can’t follow the steps outlined in your instructions.

MemberHi Jaap. Thanks for linking to that KB article. It was missing an important step:
- go to the top right corner and click Screen Options
- check the box next to “Events”
- then you’ll see that metabox!
FYI: really it’s just a custom link anyway (not a “smart” link that stays updated if you change your Events slug in Settings. So you could just add it manually as a custom link if you prefer doing it this way.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with 🙂

ParticipantHm, since I updated to 4.0 the Menu Editor (appearance > menus) completely stopped working. When I deactivate TEC & TEC Pro it works again. I attached a screenshot how it looks when TEC is active. This is a multisite install. https://www.dropbox.com/s/umblbtex24p0wca/Screen%20Shot%202015-12-10%20at%2011.10.39.png?dl=0
I see an error in the Inspector: “ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: columns” Again, this is only with TEC active.

ParticipantFound a hidden PHP error in the source:
<b>Fatal error</b>: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in <b>/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php</b> on line <b>1135</b><br />December 10, 2015 at 2:19 am #1038614jaapstronks
ParticipantFound this issue, related to my current issue. I’ll wait for the 4.0.1 release to try out your fix for the original problem.

MemberJaap, thanks for your patience as we fix this issue. I’ve added this thread to our internal bug report. As a workaround for now, you can use the Theme Customizer’s menu editor if you do need to edit menus.
Thanks!
