    Hi.

Sorry you’re having these troubles. I’ll answer each question separately.

    ===

You can download old versions of each of our plugins like this:

Deleting The Events Calendar or the PRO add-on will NOT delete any of your data if you delete it via the WordPress plugin manager because that’s how we’ve decided to code our plugin.

FYI: deleting any plugin via FTP or cPanel’s File Manager (i.e. deleting just the files from the server) will also ensure a plugin gets deleted (if you delete the entire plugin folder) without removing any data from the database. This can sometimes be helpful to know in cases where a plugin does run an uninstall routine to delete data (again, our plugins do not run such a routine at this time and probably never will).

You can also see the difference when you click to delete a plugin, like this.

I see you have an Agency-level license for PRO. Please provide me a link to the calendar we’re discussing (of the site that has 500,000+ events). Please also share that site’s System Information report here in a Private Reply.

Ashley, thank you for pointing this out.

I have been able to replicate the following issue on my local testing site:

    1. Have an existing venue that has Show Google Map and Show Google Maps Link checked (you can even view the Venue’s page to make sure the map actually works)
    2. Create a new event via Community Events form and select this venue
    3. Publish/View this new event and see the venue map is not displayed on the Event Single page

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Could you please provide me your full code snippet and specify where you put it?

Please also make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions:

    Bummer. Sorry, man.

Could you please provide me the code you’ve added and specify where you’ve added it?

    Thanks for confirming that.

If you provide me a link to one of your events, I could probably determine why it’s happening and how to fix it via CSS.

At that link, I didn’t see the widget or shortcode from your screenshot, and I didn’t see Filter Bar active from your other screenshot.

Also, your main site navigation links are overlapping your Events Calendar, which might turn into a poor UX for your visitors. Here’s a GIF of that issue.

I’d suggest you give our PRO Color Customizer a thorough spin and let me know if you need additional assistance. 🙂

I checked out that other thread. Do you know if your theme is dequeuing jQuery or loading its own custom jQuery at the wp-admin Event edit screen?

You might also look for console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Please let me know so I can further assist with this issue.

    I understand, James.

I checked those 3 strings (Lines 1267-1286 in /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/Tickets.php) and they all have the proper text domains.

Therefore, I’m wondering if your customization was affected by a translations bug that was recently patched via the latest version (4.2.1.1) of Event Tickets.

Please update to v4.2.1.1 and let me know if all your problems are magically solved 🙂

    Thanks for that information.

We’ve actually confirmed this as a bug.

Unfortunately, the only suggestion at this time is to edit your wp-config.php file to add WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY set to FALSE until the fix is released (hopefully in our next bug fix update).

Please let me know if there’s anything else on this topic that I can help with at this time.

    Thank you for that information.

Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (switch to a WordPress default theme like TwentySixteen) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

As you know, when PRO is deactivated, its custom color settings aren’t active either.

However, I’m guessing you have your Display Settings > “Default stylesheet used for events templates” set to “Full Styles” (text color is #333 by default) instead of “Tribe Events Styles” (which overrides the #333 text color to be white by default).

Therefore, the issue could be your PRO custom colors aren’t jiving with the Full Styles (but might look nice with the Tribe Events Styles). You’ll need to determine the best look for your site.

    I hope this helps.

Gotcha. So the issue is that people are not checking these 2 boxes when creating a new Venue via CE front-end form.

And you’re wanting them checked by default, right?

If you want to do that, you can follow our Themer’s Guide and duplicate/copy the /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/modules/venue.php file into [your-child-theme]/tribe-events/community/modules/ folder and then make this edit to your custom version of venue.php

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Dish Women!

I see you checked the box at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display > “Disable the Event Search Bar”

If I’m understanding your issue fully, you might want to uncheck that box and see if that solves it for you.

    Please let me know.

    Hi Marie.

Thanks for the question, but this isn’t an existing feature.

If a plugin like Jetpack’s Sharing feature adds share buttons on Event Single pages, each social site should pick up the event details and it should turn out ok (maybe even exactly what you’re looking for).

If you don’t feel this provides you an acceptable solution, you may want to share your idea at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

Once you post it (or find an existing one to vote for), feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
