Here’s an idea… try creating a fake/demo event (several months in the future if you don’t want it being displayed to your users) assigned to a Venue with an address in the USA, such as Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, etc.

Then search “Near” that city name — it should even autocomplete your typed entry.

If this works, then it’s definitely the same bug we’ve been dealing with for a long time now.

Let me know how it goes for you.

    Hi Derek.

You could reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/required-fields-for-events-submission-form/ to possibly be able to restrict Community Events form submissions to only allow certain dates.

Of course, it wouldn’t be great for users if they didn’t know your date restrictions, which is why you’d want a customized date picker.

I’d probably start by setting the start/end date fields to a default date, like 2017-04-01, and then consider hiding actual datepicker dates or full months. You could also inject some help text around the date field(s) to specify the only dates that will be allowed are April 1-8, 2017.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

To be honest, I’m not exactly sure what happens differently for RSVP, Woo, EDD, etc when the Attendees Table’s “Delete” link is clicked, but it runs do_delete() at https://github.com/moderntribe/event-tickets/blob/4.3/src/Tribe/Attendees_Table.php#L497-L498

I’m curious what isn’t cutting it for you in RSVP vs free WooCommerce tickets. Please explain so we can better understand your use case.

Sorry, I misunderstood your issue. I thought you were dissatisfied with the display of the Community Events form, but I now understand you’re talking about your Community Events login form…

Our login form is just the WordPress default one from calling wp_login_form().

Your theme may just not have styling for this, although with all the other things Avada has I’d imagine they should… but any styling like that would come from your theme support since it’s the default WordPress login form.

If you set it back to not allowing Anonymous Submissions, I think we’ll be good here.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Definitely a good idea to do your troubleshooting on the test version of your site!

Please closely follow along the steps I outlined in my initial reply, above, to remedy the events being out of order. That’ll be a good point to then try to move forward if all else seems to be working fine.

    Thanks for your efforts here.

    Thanks for the explanation.

You stated you wanted to use WooCommerce. Have you considered just using our RSVP type tickets that come from Event Tickets core/free but get enhanced with Event Tickets Plus?

If you use RSVP type tickets, they can RSVP “going” or “not going”, which can be edited via the /tickets URL per event.

    For example: yoursite.com/event/an-event-to-attend/tickets/

    Hi, Ole.

It sounds like you exactly described our Event Aggregator add-on for The Events Calendar.

Please check it out and let me know your thoughts about it.

Also, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi.

I believe I understand what you’re asking for, but we’re limited in helping with customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.

I don’t believe we have any existing way to suggest implementing this, but the Tribe Bar (what we call the search bar) renders from this file: /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/bar.php

That should at least point you in the right direction to start digging deeper if you decide to pursue this.

Hi. Sorry Event Aggregator (EA) isn’t going smoothly for you.

Please reference our Moving to EA help article and see if maybe there was a step you missed in your transition.

Other than that, I’d probably need to see screenshots and/or a video screencast from your site to help further on this issue. Feel free to share if you can.
