MemberThanks for finding that old request of yours. I see it’s from 2016, and it was awaiting release of the shortcode I pointed you to. Reading your UserVoice request, though, that shortcode can filter by but not really display in the same way as the Events List widget/shortcode, which can also filter by but not display the assigned taxonomy(ies).
Therefore, I logged this request internally as well and hopefully that will help it get a bit more attention with the developers.
I’ve linked that internal ticket to this Help Desk thread so this thread will receive an update if/when such functionality is released.
Thanks for sharing your request! Is there anything more I can help you with at this time?
Cliff
MemberSorry for the confusion. The download link for each of our Extensions is all the way at the bottom, a big blue button. Let me know if you have trouble with it.

MemberHi, Lisa. Did you see https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/integrating-events-calendar-slider-revolution-essential-grid/ ?
It has some code snippets in that article that may be of interest to you.
Please let me know if this article helps at all.

MemberHi. Sorry for that issue. There might have been a small outage (none that I’m aware of though) at that time you tried. If you’re still getting this now, please check with your web host if there might be some IP or domain blocking or other settings that could be causing this.
If you still need assistance with this, please share (or re-share) your System Information in a Private Reply.
That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

MemberHi. We have https://theeventscalendar.com/functions/ but I don’t see Event Tickets Plus there.
To your specific request, are you wanting to add your own additional field types? (reference: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/18020920-more-types-and-validation-options-for-ticket-field)

MemberHi. I’m happy to try to help point you in the right direction, but I’m not sure what a button would do.
To actually output the events, you could use one of our plugin’s widgets or shortcodes.
If you’re looking for a query, you could use this snippet as a reference:

MemberHi, Sally. You could use our tribe_events shortcode (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/). If you want to use another shortcode, such as tribe_events_list and you want it to have additional functionality, please submit this as a new feature request (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

MemberHi, Kerry. You mentioned a recurrence series (a feature of Events Calendar PRO), but you posted in thePre-Sales area of our Help Desk from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it (or accidentally if you forgot to login first).
If you do have a paid account login with at least one current license, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.
If you don’t have a paid account login, I’m afraid we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in the Pre-Sales area. If you’re using one of our free plugins, such as The Events Calendar or Event Tickets, you can request assistance on their respective WordPres.org Support Forums (we do not provide technical support for users there, either–only via our paid forums).

We do not provide a “bookings” solution. The closest thing we have–in concept–is tickets for recurring events… however, this functionality does not currently exist but is on our long-term roadmap.
Our ticketing product also doesn’t currently support PRO’s recurring events.
If you start to create a ticket for a recurring event, there will be a little question mark notice that reads:
Currently, tickets will only show up on the frontend once per full event. For PRO users this means the same ticket will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.
You should add your vote to this existing feature request for Event Tickets to support PRO’s recurring events.
Something some users are doing right now is using PRO’s recurring events to populate their events calendar but then breaking each occurrence from the series to turn them into single events — basically using PRO as an event generator but not actually using its recurring events functionality on the front-end. Others are just dealing with the tickets on recurring events even though you can’t then tell which occurrence they reserved the ticket for… use this information for your own reference but please don’t take it as any sort of recommendation.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberThanks for confirming.
I do see your ET+ license renewed and not expiring until 2019.
Please remove the license key from wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab
Then visit https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and remove the site from being assigned that license.
Then refresh your wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab page and then input the same license key.
Please let me know how this works for you.

FYI: Deleting The Events Calendar or its add-on plugins will NOT delete any of your data if you delete it via the WordPress plugin manager because that’s how we’ve decided to code our plugin.
FYI: deleting any plugin via FTP or cPanel’s File Manager (i.e. deleting just the files from the server) will also ensure a plugin gets deleted (if you delete the entire plugin folder) without removing any data from the database. This can sometimes be helpful to know in cases where a plugin does run an uninstall routine to delete data (again, our plugins do not run such a routine at this time and probably never will).
You can also see the difference when you click to delete a plugin, like this.
