MemberHi, John. Sorry for the confusion caused here.
Did you double-check “Event Category” is still checked at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Filters tab ?
October 16, 2017 at 3:14 pm in reply to: Where to Place acf_form_head() to Save Submitted Data #1364343Cliff
MemberHi, Steven.
Thanks for your detailed question.
The Community Events form is actually not a regular WordPress post or archive page; it’s a WP Router “page”.
tribe_events_community_form might be the action hook you’re looking for. I found it in the render() method inside /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/Tribe/Event_Form.php
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Kishore.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/ is not our plugin.
I’d suggest switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Seventeen and if the issue is still happening, search if others in their forum are experiencing it as well. If you don’t find someone else reporting the issue, please report it as a new issue in that plugin’s support forum.
Thank you for your understanding.

MemberHi, John.
In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future. Thanks for your understanding.
1)
You can disable the entire Related Events display by checking this box: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Hide related events”
Otherwise, if you want to customize it with your own logic, you could use one of the filters in tribe_get_related_posts()
2)
I see you’re referring to the https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-avatars/ plugin. It was last updated 2 years ago, which is typically not a good sign as far as current coding best practices and plugin or WordPress compatibility go.
I appreciate your question. However, we cannot provide plugin compatibility help for this plugin, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
October 16, 2017 at 2:29 pm in reply to: Shortcode: 3 elements workin, 1 not working – limit="3" #1364329Cliff
MemberHi. There is no “limit” shortcode argument, which is why it’s not working for you.
Please add your vote to this existing feature request: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17229266-add-limit-x-option-to-tribe-events-shortcode
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

MemberHi, Nick. Sorry you’re experiencing this known bug.
I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now, but I know it’s scheduled to be released soon.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Cliff
MemberGotcha. Here’s that existing feature request: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5620219-community-events-native-image-file-uploader-on-s
I’ve pinged our development team to remind them of it based on your request and also because I personally think it should happen (ideally sooner than later, as always).
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

October 16, 2017 at 1:36 pm in reply to: Using a QR scan app on which i can import the tickets' code to work offline #1364312Cliff
MemberGlad to help!
Adding that URL is a little more complex because the methods that create the link are private and therefore the way to recreate them wouldn’t stay current if those methods change. In other words, we could hard-code it for how it works today but it could be fairly susceptible to breaking in the future.
That being said, you can reference the _get_link() method in /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/QR.php and that might point you toward what you’re looking for.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberThanks so much for sharing what worked for you.
Wouldn’t this work for both of your questions, not just the second?
Cliff
MemberIf you set it back to a Featured Event, I’ll be able to provide that CSS as well.
Cliff
MemberExcellent. I found your user account and processed everything.
Please check https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and if you have any follow-up questions, create a new thread in the applicable forum (always post to PRO when in doubt).
Have a great week!
