Participantchapelboro,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try updating to the latest version of the plugins (3.6) and let me know if that fixes the issue for you? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participanthackauf,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately that functionality isn’t possible in the current version of the plugin. If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin.Thanks! 🙂

Participantmediumfour,
Thanks for getting in touch! We always discourage users from editing any of the plugin files directly for just this reason. If you wish to override any styles, please take a look at our themer’s guide, which will walk you through the process of creating your own tribe-events.css stylesheet where your custom style rules can reside.Take a look there and then let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantJohannes,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Something is interfering with the plugin’s stylesheets, which is why your calendar is always displaying in responsive mode.After viewing the source of the page, it appears that your stylesheets are getting combined into one <link> reference using a plugin named ‘scripts-gzip-hack2.’ If the ‘media’ attributes are left off of the plugin’s mobile stylesheets, then this can cause the issue you’re reporting above. Try disabling that plugin and let me know if the issue is resolved.
Thanks! 🙂

Participantjussibr,
Thanks for getting in touch! With the update of 3.6 we re-worked how the Single Event Meta functionality works. Take a look at this blog post (making special note of item #1) which outlines the changes and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantAl,
Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. It sounds like you might not have automatic updates enabled for PRO. Just follow these steps to enable it:- Go to your License Keys page and copy your license key
- Next, in your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Events->Settings->Licenses’ and paste in your license key in the box
- Click away from the box and wait for the license key to verify, and then click ‘Save Changes’
- Then go to ‘Dashboard->Updates’ and click ‘Check again’ to force WordPress to check for plugin updates
After following those steps, you should hopefully be seeing the 3.6 update for PRO, but let me know if you still have issues after that. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantLars,
Thanks for reporting this issue, as I’m also seeing it on my end when I have several organizers in my dropdown. I’ve ticketed this item to be addressed in a future release, but in the interim you should be able to fix this by adding the following CSS to your theme’s stylesheet:
.tribe-events-filters-horizontal .tribe-events-filter-group {
z-index:600 !important;
}
Give that a try and let me know if it fixes the issue for you. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantLars,
Thanks for getting in touch. This blog post outlines all of the changes that were included with version 3.6. You’ll want to pay close attention to the ‘Meta Factory’ information on there, as we’ve changed on the single event meta works.If you enable ‘tribe_events_single_event_meta_legacy_mode’ then your overrides should continue to work after that. Thanks! 🙂

Participantstcwdc,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. You’ll want to make sure that you have the correct license key entered (and not your expired license key). To enter your correct license key, just do the following:- Go to your License Keys page and copy your license key
- Next, in your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Events->Settings->Licenses’ and paste in your license key in the box
- Click away from the box and wait for the license key to verify, and then click ‘Save Changes’
Then try going to ‘Dashboard->Updates’ and clicking ‘Check again’ and let me know if you’re able to see the updates after that. Thanks! 🙂

Participantloganlape,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m noticing that your calendar seems to be stuck in responsive mode. You’ll notice that the ‘media’ attributes are being stripped off of your CSS files (see example here), which will cause your calendar to always display in responsive mode. It’s definitely not a good practice to strip off the attributes from your <link> tags, since this can cause unexpected issues.This is probably something that’s happening within your theme, so I would suggest disabling that functionality, or reaching out to the developer of your theme to see if they can assist further.
Give that a try and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantwelshartnow,
Thanks for getting in touch! If you’ve changed your ‘Default Content’ settings in Events->Settings->Default Content, then the Community add-on will honor those settings on the Event Submission form. With that being said, those fields will still need to be on the form in order to be submitted as data with the event. If you want to hide them, you could do so with some CSS by using ‘display:none,’ and the field information will still be submitted. Does that make sense?Give that a shot and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂
