Are you still having this issue? If so, please give Leah’s suggestions a try, or let us know if you resolved the issue and we’ll close this out. Thanks!CaseyParticipantMeghan,
So sorry to hear you’re having issues. It looks like another user reported something similar here (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/are-you-sure-you-want-to-do-this-upon-submission/) and it turned out to be an issue with their permalinks.Could you go into ‘Settings->Permalinks’ and hit Save again? This will reset your permalinks and hopefully resolve the issue. Let me know if that helps!
CaseyParticipantYvonne,
To update your permalinks go to Settings->Permalinks and click ‘Save’. Let me know if that helps, or if the problem persists. Thanks!CaseyParticipantDawn,
Sorry you’re still having issues. You’ll need to make sure you’re running the same version of EC Pro (latest is 2.0.9, but you have 2.0.2) as The Events Calendar. Try going to your downloads page (https://theeventscalendar.com/downloads/) and seeing if you have access to version 2.0.9. If not, this means that your PRO license has expired, and you’ll need to re-purchase in order to get another year of updates & support.Let me know if that does the trick. Thanks!

CaseyParticipantToddz,
Unfortunately not. You can disallow anonymous event submissions, but any logged-in users can add events. You can however require that they be approved by an admin before being published.
We might think about adding user restriction in a future release. Thanks, and let me know if you have any other questions!
CaseyParticipantAlyssa,
After performing a template override, find the lines that look like this: https://gist.github.com/3499149 and just comment them out like this: https://gist.github.com/3499154Let me know if that does the trick for you.
CaseyParticipantSean,
Here’s what our devs said:“Currently, there isn’t anything in core that allows for that.
If the user is good with jQuery they could write a simple plugin that uses the field id to setup a select box instead of input field based on year list they define. It would make for a good addon plugin/code bit.”
Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions!

Try this: $description = wpautop($eventPost->post_content);Let me know if that fixes the issue.
CaseyParticipantAssure,
Are you having problems posting to the forum? Not quite sure I understand your last reply. Could you explain further? Thanks!CaseyParticipantAssure,
So sorry you’re having this issue! Hopefully I can help you out. Is http://community.mobarena.co.in/ your current URL? I’m currently unable to see anything at that domain.Could you also send a screenshot of the error you’re seeing?
When searching for your error in the forums, a few threads have come up with users experiencing similar issues, which seem to be related to their webhost: https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=You+do+not+have+sufficient+permissions+to+access+this+page&x=20&y=16
Could you try deactivating EC Pro and then reactivating?
CaseyParticipantPaul & Andy,
So sorry that I mis-spoke in my earlier reply, but I was mistaken about the necessity to modify the plugin. Can you confirm that the URL structure that I posted above works for you? Thanks! -
