Matt,
Happy to help with this. I’m assuming you’re talking about the date header on the Event List Page correct? If so, then first of all, you’ll need to make sure you have an ‘events’ folder in your theme directory. If you don’t, then you’ll need to perform a template override (https://theeventscalendar.com/faq/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/).Once you’ve done this, you’ll go into YOUR_THEME_DIRECTORY/events/list.php and replace the follwing code that starts at line 31: https://gist.github.com/3291286
With this: https://gist.github.com/3291292
Hope that helps! Just let me know if you have any other questions.
CaseyParticipantDawn,
You should be able to do this using custom fields. Go to ‘Events->Settings->Additional Fields’ and add a new Text field called ‘Timezone.’ After doing this, you should now see a new ‘Timezone’ field when adding a new event. Here’s a great screencast that covers this feature more in-depth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1SMSvOJAzs
Just let me know if you have more questions. Thanks!
CaseyParticipantMichael,
You can edit the ‘tribe-events-calendar-header’ section in list.php to the following: https://gist.github.com/3278002Just let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
CaseyParticipantLouis,
Regarding your first question, you should be able to do something like this instead of using an anchor tag: https://gist.github.com/3277768Regarding your second question, make sure you’ve first created the custom field for your event. You’ll want to make sure this custom field name is consistent across events: http://www.diigo.com/item/image/1s965/te6j?size=o
After you’ve done that, then you’ll want to modify the code to use your custom field name instead of ‘Label For Custom Field Link’.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
