    koptsi,
Did you try reverting to the default 2013 theme and deactivating all other non-Tribe plugins? Please try that, and then let me know so I can troubleshoot while in that ‘Default’ state. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    stratejusinc,
Unfortunately not. You’ll definitely want to utilize all of the conditional functions to make sure that you’re not dequeueing the CSS on pages that need it (Event Views, Organizer archives, Venue archives, etc). Take a look at our documentation and look for the ‘tribe_is_*’ functions (ex: tribe_is_upcoming).

Glad that did the trick for you, and let me know if you need further help. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    koptsi,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you include a link to your site, so I can investigate further? Could you also try testing for conflicts and let me know what you discover?

It’s possible that this might be an issue related to your theme or a plugin conflict, but want to confirm before troubleshooting further.

    Thanks! πŸ™‚

    stratejusinc,
Thanks for getting in touch! You should be able to use the following code in your theme’s functions.php to dequeue all Events Calendar styles: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/ffe7c737b73e5d581bad

The main thing you’ll want to note is that I’ve set the priority of the ‘dequeue_tribe_styles’ function to 100, so that it is executed after the plugin enqueues the styles. You’ll also want to keep in mind that this will remove styling from all pages on your site, including your Event pages, unless you add some logic to only dequeue styles on non-event pages.

Give that code a try and let me know if it does the trick for you.

    Thanks! πŸ™‚

    kiralybalazs,
I just wanted to follow up with you here and see if you’ve had a chance to try out the latest 3.8.2 version of Community that we’ve recently released. If so, can you confirm that the issue no longer exists?

    Roger,
I’m not aware of any changes that were made to this function that would be causing this issue, but I’ll pass along your feedback to our developers to investigate further.

    ballstonjournal,
I’m sorry for the delay in responding back to you, but I must have missed your reply somehow. After looking at the Word document, it looks like this is just affecting one specific user? If so, then I’d recommend that you make sure they have an up-to-date browser, and walk through the process of submitting events with them to see where they’re going wrong.

It also appears that the user didn’t submit an actual screenshot in their email to you. It looks like they just copied the text that was on the page, and pasted it into an email. If you can have them submit an actual screenshot of what they’re seeing, then that would help to narrow down the issue further.

Since I’ve confirmed that I’m able to submit events successfully, I think we have to conclude that this issue is something specific to this user’s local computer.

Give that a try and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks so much!

If you’re using chrome, this extension is a really good screenshot capture tool, and it offers a way to temporarily host your screenshots to share a URL.

Alternatively, there are other services like CloudApp or Dropbox that allow you to easily share files & images with a URL.

Try giving one of those a try. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    ballstonjournal,
This is a very odd issue indeed! I was just able to successfully submit an event using the Community Submission form on your site (screenshot). Can you verify that this issue is still present? If so, can you give me a step-by-step description of the actions you’re taking so I can try to reproduce this issue?

Thanks for your patience, while we try to figure out the root cause of this issue!
