Participantbrianlokker,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. You’ll need to make sure that you’ve entered your license key in order to receive updates for PRO. To do this, follow these steps:- Go to your License Keys page and copy your license key
- Next, in your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Events->Settings->Licenses’ and paste in your license key in the box
- Click away from the box and wait for the license key to verify, and then click ‘Save Changes’
- Then go to ‘Dashboard->Updates’ and click ‘Check again’ in order to see the latest update for PRO (note: sometimes it can take a few minutes for the update to appear)
Give those steps a try and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! π

Participantfitbycai,
Thanks for getting in touch! Could you clarify your question a bit for me? Are you wanting to change the names of some of your Event Categories and tags, or are you wanting to change the ‘Event Category’ and ‘Event Tags’ labels on the single event page? Thanks! π

ParticipantJohan,
Thanks for getting in touch! Our plugin doesn’t currently support this functionality, but you might be able to find some additional plugins that will allow users to subscribe to a custom post type, which should do the trick. Thanks! π

I was able to replicate your issue in my local environment, and as such, have created a ticket for our developers to provide a fix for this issue in an upcoming release. We’ll give you updates on this thread as we have them. Thanks! π-Casey-

ParticipantCan you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! π

Participantsocialist,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you give me the URL to the Facebook page of events that you’re trying to import? I’d like to see if I can duplicate this on my end. Thanks! π-Casey-

Participantingauge,
Thanks for getting in touch! This definitely sounds like some kind of hosting issue. Have you tried increasing the Memory Limit in PHP / WordPress to see if that helps at all? It’s possible that this might also be related to one of the caching plugins that you have installed. Could you test for conflicts and let me know what you discover after following those troubleshooting steps?
Thanks! π

ParticipantLeigh,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately, we don’t claim to offer any official support with the Barcode extension, and can’t offer any integration support with a third-party add-on like this. If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin.I know that’s probably not the answer your were looking for, and I’m deeply sorry for that, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π

Participanttoddjob,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try reactivating PRO and then go to ‘Appearance->Widgets’ and remove any widgets related to PRO? After doing that, try adding them back one at a time and see if your issue persists. We changed how some of the widget options are saved in version 3.6, and I suspect that your issue is somehow related to having some old settings lurking around.
Give that a try and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! π

Participantbrightenyourview,
Thanks for getting in touch! Can you verify that you don’t have any filters applied that would be causing no events to show? You can do this by going to your Events List page and clicking the ‘Clear’ button in the Filters section (screenshot). If that’s not the case, then I would suggest increasing the Memory limit available to WordPress.
If that still doesn’t fix the issue, then I would check to make sure that you’re not including a large amount of Events on the listing page, by going to ‘Screen Options’ and decreasing the number of events that you’re displaying per page (screenshot).
Give those suggestions a try and let me know if you’re still having problems here. Thanks! π

Participantvancouverfamily,
Thanks for getting in touch!Hello, Iβm wondering if itβs possible to limit users, so when they login to review submitted and accepted events in their account, that they only see their events
Unfortunately this functionality is not possible in the current version of the plugins. If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin.
Also, when a user logs in, is there a hook or place in the code I can alter so that they are re-directed to the event submission page and not to the Dashboard?
A quick Google search turned up this post, which will walk you through redirecting non-admin users to a specified URL after logging in.
Give that a try and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π
