ParticipantSheila,
Thanks for being patient for a reply while most of our support team was out for the Holiday weekend. Are you still having this issue? I was able to login and view all of the Events in the dashboard with no problems (screenshot).Regarding the duplicate featured image, this is a feature coming from your theme. To resolve this, you could perform a template override of ‘single-events.php’ and remove this line of code:
<?php echo tribe_event_featured_image($event_id, 'full', false); ?>
This will prevent the plugin from displaying the featured image altogether, and only allow it to be displayed by your theme.
I’m also not seeing your 404 issues on your staging site anymore. Were you able to resolve that issue?

Participantaudaciouscreate,
Thanks for being patient! Our support staff was limited over the Holiday weekend, but we’re back at full capacity today. πHi Casey. I set up a test WP site with just both plugins and the calendars worked perfectly with the default theme and the theme Iβm using for the Vibrant site.
Your reply here makes me think that you were able to resolve your issue. Is that not the case?
If you’re still having issues, could you visit the Permalink Settings page, confirm everything there is correct and hit update? That might help to refresh the rewrite rules table. With that done, see if the page is accessible as expected.
Thanks! π

ParticipantTran,
Unfortunately not, since the main idea behind the Filter bar add-on is to allow users to filter through existing events. If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin. Thanks! π

ParticipantJoshua,
Our PRO add-on adds supports for Venues, so your users can access a page of just that venue’s events. Take a look at this Venue Page on our WP Shindig demo site, which is showing all of the upcoming events at ‘Topanga Library.’That sounds like what you’re trying to accomplish, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π

ParticipantSheila,
If so, is there then a way for me to easily export the events from the live site into this? Or is that likely to reintroduce the issue?
You could always try using the ‘Tools->Export->Events’ option built into WordPress to export events from the live site, but it’s possible that this might re-introduce the issue, since the Live site is where the problematic data lies.
If we canβt get this working, what are the potentials issues with leaving the live site in the old version? I know itβs far from ideal but are we at much security risk doing that?
We never recommend that customers stay on older versions of the plugin, since they’re likely to encounter issues with newer versions of WordPress, and we can only provide support for customers that are running the latest version. With that being said, your security risk is minimal as long as you’re running the latest version of WordPress.
Hope that helps! Thanks! π

ParticipantCan you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further.

ParticipantTran,
Ok, I think I understand the issue clearer now. The Filter bar add-on is designed to narrow down event results, so the user can see a smaller subset of events. Since your site has no events with Filterable data (like Categories, Venues, etc), the other Filter dropdowns aren’t displaying, since it might mislead users to thinking there are more events.Does that make sense? Try adding more events with Categories, Venues, and other information, and let me know if they’re still not appearing.
Thanks! π

ParticipantSheila,
Now that you’ve cleared out your Event data, could you try flushing your WordPress permalinks again, just to make sure we’ve covered our bases. If the issue still persists, then I would try a fresh install of WordPress, since that’s the only thing we haven’t tried yet.I’m definitely sorry for this frustrating ordeal, but unfortunately this is why we recommend to our customers that they update their plugins frequently to avoid potential upgrade issues.
Thanks! π

Participantaudaciouscreate,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Could you try testing for conflicts and let me know what you discover? I suspect that this might be an issue related to your theme or a plugin conflict, but want to confirm before troubleshooting further. Thanks! π

Participantsafarilee,
Thanks for getting in touch! If you look at the <body> tag on any particular event page, you’ll notice many CSS classes there. You should be able to use something like ‘.events-archive’ to only apply styles to your main Events Page and not your Single Events Page.Hope that helps get you pointed in the right direction! Thanks! π

ParticipantPaul,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I realized that the link you shared with me has a period after the .org, and I noticed that you have the same link in your site’s navigation. If you fix that link to the correct one (http://unionsquarelive.org/events/), then your issue should be fixed! πHope that helps! Thanks! π

Participantclintre,
Thanks for getting in touch! Every Calendar program is different, but if you’re using Outlook, then you should be able to import the ICS file into an existing calendar using these instructions. Hope that helps! Thanks! π
