Participantwallyglenn,
Thanks for the clarification. This does indeed look like a bug with the responsive view, and I’ve logged it as a ticket for our developers to fix in an upcoming version. In the mean time, you should be able to paste this code snippet into your theme’s functions.php file as a workaround to prevent the mobile stylesheets from kicking in when printing: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/10293ac66a9486c99fa2
Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantThanks for the response! You should be able to create a new user as an ‘Event Editor’ by following the steps I outlined in this thread. You might need to tweak some of the capabilities to remove the ‘Publish’ permissions, but that should get you most of the way there. After creating your new user role, I would suggest creating a test user account to see if the permissions are adequate for what you’re needing.
Give that a shot and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantwallyglenn,
Thanks for getting in touch! I suspect what’s happening is that the mobile/responsive view is kicking in at the print resolution and hiding the event titles. Could you send me a screenshot of your print-preview window, so I can confirm and continue troubleshooting? Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantDennis,
Thanks for getting in touch! Regarding your first issue, you should be able to do this by pasting the following code snippet into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/82834e4bc8e77434a346Give that a try and let me know if that does the trick.
Regarding your second issue, can you verify your Date Format settings by going to ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and make sure your settings there are correct?
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantWayne,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately that link you shared requires a login in order to view it, so I can’t investigate the details, but after investigating the Map view ajax calls, I’m seeing ‘tribe_geosearch’ as the action that’s being fired when browsing between pages (screenshot).Try adding that to your code snippet and see if it does the trick. If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest you reach out to Kevin Behrens as I’m not exactly familiar with Press Permit and what his fix entails, but we’ll be happy to try and answer any questions that might help him troubleshoot further.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantAlice,
Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, this custom recurrence option is definitely possible with Events Calendar PRO, as you can see in this screenshot: http://grab.by/ywH8.Hopefully that helps to answer your questions, but let me know if I can help further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantwittywork,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately, our custom recurrence will currently only allow you to do one of those options (either the 1st Tuesday of every month, or the 3rd Tuesday of every month: screenshot). As a workaround, you could create two recurring events with the same name, and have one recur on the 1st Tuesday of every month and the other could recur on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.I know that’s not ideal, but we’re currently working on enhancing the custom recurrence functionality, and would appreciate your feedback in this UserVoice Topic.
Hopefully that helps to answer your question, but let me know if I can help further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantcccathedraltx,
This is a local development environment, so there is no URL.
Unfortunately that severely limits our ability to troubleshoot the issue, if we’re not able to see the behavior in action and inspect for errors. Is it possible that you could put this out on a DEV server, so that we can help you troubleshoot further? If not, then unfortunately our hands our tied and our ability to provide support will be somewhat limited.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantJonathan,
It’s always a possibility that there’s another plugin that’s conflicting or periodically modifying the WP permalink settings and causing these 404 issues. Did you notice this behavior recently, or did it happen to coincide with a recent plugin update or install? Since the issue is intermittent, it’s definitely hard to nail down, but could you try deactivating all other non-Tribe plugins and see if the issue crops back up?Another option would be to install event rocket, which is a third-party plugin that might help eliminate some of these 404 issues you’re having.
Give those suggestions a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantkellymarie2001,
Make sure you’re including the code snippet within the PHP opening and closing tags (<?php ?>) and let me know if that fixes the issue. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantStacey,
After investigating this further, I am definitely noticing issues with a blank 2014 child theme in conjunction with the ‘Default Events Template’. Here’s what I’m seeing: http://grab.by/ywGoWhen I use the ‘Default Page Template,’ things seem to display much better (screenshot), but we’ll definitely work on our end to get the ‘Default Events Template’ working with standard child themes for a future release.
In the mean time, I would suggest trying the ‘Default Page Template’ to see if that fixes the layout issues you’re experiencing here.
Give that a shot and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂
