ParticipantThanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.

ParticipantSian,
You can add this code to your theme’s function.php file to alter the title: https://gist.github.com/4586577Just let me know if that’s what you’re looking for. Thanks!

ParticipantTom,
So sorry to hear that you’re having these issues. Were you able to deactivate all of your other plugins? Since I’m not experiencing this issue in my environment, I’d like to see if this might possibly be conflicting with another plugin.Would you mind giving that a try for me? Then we can go from there and troubleshoot further. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantLyne,
Unfortunately we don’t offer customization services. You might reach out in the EC Pro forum and see if any other users have had success finding good free-lance developers for work like this. Thanks and sorry we couldn’t be more help than that!January 19, 2013 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Limit number of text (letters) in the event description #31193Casey

ParticipantTim,
I’m going to move this thread over to the EC Pro forum to see if any users over there might have some advice for you. Thanks!January 19, 2013 at 5:45 pm in reply to: Making CE page fullwidth and adding HTML before the Events #31191Casey

ParticipantRob,
Unfortunately we can’t provide support for custom themes. However, I did notice that your single page template is using ‘grid-8’ for your page layout, which is why the form is only taking up 2/3 of the page width. I would contact your theme developer to see if they can help you customize this.Just let me know if you have further questions and we’ll help where we can. Thanks!

ParticipantYvonne,
Just to clarify, did that resolve your issue? Just let me know and I’ll close this thread out. Thanks!January 18, 2013 at 6:47 am in reply to: Limit number of text (letters) in the event description #31106Casey
ParticipantLyne,
Unfortunately we can’t support customizations, but using our documentation, your designer should be able to figure it out. If not, I’d search for a competent PHP/WordPress developer and they should be able to get this done.Good luck, and let us know if there’s something else we can help with!

ParticipantYvonne,
I responded to your other thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/community-events-take-off-on-submit-event-not-admin-log-out/.So, I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread. Feel free to start a new thread if you have other issues. Thanks!

ParticipantYvonne,
The only reason you’re seeing the ‘Not Admin? Log Out’ text is because you’re currently logged in with the ‘admin’ user account. If a user goes directly to the ‘Event Submission’ page and they’re not logged in, they won’t see that text (if you’ve enabled anonymous submissions). If they are logged in, they’ll see their own username there instead of ‘Admin.’Does that make sense?

ParticipantTiago,
Since this is an EC Pro question, I’m going to go ahead and move this over to that forum. Stand by.Casey
ParticipantYvonne,
Regarding your first question, we’re hoping to implement captcha support at some point, but we don’t have a definite timeframe for that functionality. See this thread for more info: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/protect-anonymous-submissions-with-captcha/Regarding #2, could you clarify a little bit about what you’re trying to do? I’m not sure I understand.
Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantSian,
Unfortunately this functionality isn’t available without significant customization to the plugin. I’ve proposed this feature to our developers to include in a future version, but don’t have any ETA on when it might be developed.I’ll definitely keep you updated as I know more though! Thanks!
