ParticipantExcellent! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂

ParticipantBob,
You are definitely right! I misunderstood the issue you were describing at first, but I’m now seeing the same behavior in my environment. I’ve ticketed this for our developers to review, and will let you know when I have more information for you.Stay tuned! Thanks! 🙂

Participantrobpoole,
I definitely agree! Not sure why we didn’t include that in the original tutorial, but I’ve updated it now to be a little clearer. Thanks for catching that and letting us know. Did that do the trick for you?Just let me know if you have further questions, or if I should go ahead and close out this thread. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantThis appears to be a conflict with your theme’s styling. You should be able to add the following CSS to your stylesheet to fix the issue:
#header.header_position {
z-index:1001 !important;
}
Try that and let me know if it fixes the issue. Thanks! 🙂

Participantrobpoole,
Can you review your License Keys page to ensure that sfhac.net isn’t still listed as the active site that’s able to receive updates? If so, just click ‘Disconnect Now’ beside that item and then go re-save your license key in Events->Settings->Licenses. Then go to ‘Dashboard->Updates’ and click ‘Check again’ to refresh the updates that are available.That should hopefully do the trick, but let me know if you’re still having problems. Thanks! 🙂

Participantbluepixeldesign,
I was able to paste the snippet into my test environment with no issues. Can you paste the contents of your functions.php file to somewhere like pastebin so I can take a look? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantdesignmyweb,
The post visibility is using default WordPress functionality that is described further here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Content_Visibility. If you install a capability manager plugin, like Members, then you can edit the user roles that you wish to allow to view private events by giving them the ‘read_private_posts’ capability. This should allow them to view ANY private posts (including events) on your site.Give that a shot and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantdancepapi,
Unfortunately, this issue was due to the 3.5 upgrade process getting interrupted while the plugin was updating. We have fixed this in version 3.5.1, but there’s unfortunately no easy way to fix duplicate events. Your best bet would be to revert to a backup prior to updating the plugin, and then upgrade directly from 3.4 to 3.5.1.Alternatively, you could use a third-party plugin like Bulk Delete to delete all of your Events in order to start from scratch.
Please give one of those options a try and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantAndy,
As you saw before, my latest commit into the develop branch should have fixed this. Feel free to pull the code and try it out if you’d like. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantRob,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. You’re right! The tutorial doesn’t even reference where to put the code, so I’ll definitely fix that. In order to get this working, you’ll just need to paste that snippet from the tutorial into your theme’s functions.php file and then add your CSS to the appropriate spot.Give that a try and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantLars,
As I have stated, and @barry stated here, there’s not much more we can do to help you with this issue, since you want week view to behave differently than it was intended to.As such I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread, but please feel free to create a new thread if you have other issues. Thanks! 🙂

Participantlisac,
Thanks for getting in touch! This appears to be an error coming from another plugin, and not from The Events Calendar. I would reach out to the plugin author and see if they can help further.Just let me know if we can help answer any other questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantavwebmaster,
Thanks for getting in touch! When viewing your calendar, you should see some an iCal button similar to this (screenshot). Clicking this URL will give you an iCal feed that you can then use in other applications.Hope that helps, but let me know if you have further questions! Thanks! 🙂
