ParticipantThanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂

Participantljsimons,
Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, as the admin you can edit any events via the WordPress dashboard. Just login and go to ‘Events’ and you’ll see all events listed there. Hopefully that helps to answer your question, but let me know if I can help further.Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantRob,
That’s correct. According to our non-profit FAQ, we don’t currently provide auto-updates for non-profit licenses. In order to receive updated plugins, you’ll need to email pro(at)tri.be and reference this thread, along with the name of your non-profit organization that the license is under.Once you update the plugins, post back here and let me know if your issues were resolved.
Thanks! 🙂

Participantamezianebelkessam,
Thanks for reaching out! I suspect that some styling in your theme is hiding labels, so you could try adding some CSS to fix this. Something like this:
#tribe-community-events label {
display:inline-block !important;
}
As you’ve confirmed that this is working correctly in the default theme, I unfortunately can’t provide any more support than this. Hopefully that gets you started in the right direction, but feel free to reach out to the developer of your theme if you have further questions.
Thanks! 🙂

Participantsuzer,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. In version 3.5.1, we’ve significantly changed the way tooltips work, and consequently you’ll need to update any template overrides that you’ve performed in order for things to function correctly. I’m seeing that you’ve performed a number of template overrides, which you’ll want to update in order to make sure things are working correctly.Give that a shot and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantplascelles,
Thanks for getting in touch! You should be able to set a filter to only display recurring events (screenshot), and then from there you can select all recurring events to delete.Give that a try and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

Participantkipkniskern,
In version 3.5 and above, we’ve refactored how recurring events work. With the CPU spike, you’re probably noticing the upgrade process that runs in the background to convert your 3.4.x recurring events to the new format. How many events did you have at the time of upgrade? If you have a large number of recurring events, this process can take quite a while.How long were you seeing the CPU/MySQL spike? I’m just curious if the upgrade process was still running or not.
Honestly, I haven’t seen any reports of this issue on Linux environments, and I’m not seeing this in my local environment (running XAMPP on Windows).
Could you try creating a fresh install of WordPress on a new VM to see if the issue occurs in a new environment?
Thanks! 🙂

Participantnybc2014,
Can you confirm that you have an .htaccess file in the root of your WordPress install, and that it’s permissions are set to be writable? If so and you’re still having issues, can you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. Give that a try and let me know what you discover.Thanks! 🙂

Participantlwolfe63,
Please try deleting the PRO plugin directory via FTP and then reinstalling version 3.5.1 via your downloads page. Version 3.5.1 was released as a fix for users that were having the same problem you’re describing. Give that a shot and let me know if it resolves the issue.Thanks! 🙂

Participantoutsidethecube,
Sorry, but I just realized that you have pretty permalinks enabled on your site, so this option won’t work for you. Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantoutsidethecube,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m definitely seeing the issue you’re describing on your site. Try creating a new page and using the following shortcodes on the page:[tribe_community_events_title] – as the page title
[tribe_community_events] – as the page contentAfter creating that page, are you still seeing the same issue? Just let me know if you have further questions, and I’ll be glad to help. Thanks! 🙂

Participantoutsidethecube,
Since this looks like a duplicate of your previous thread, I’m going to go ahead and close this one out. I’ll reply on the other thread. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantAlex,
Yes, our plugin uses the WordPress ‘Week starts on’ setting, so you shouldn’t have any problems making the calendar start on a Monday. Hope that helps! Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
