ParticipantExcellent! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂

ParticipantJake,
Unfortunately you’re somewhat correct. By default, we only provide support for known addresses in Google Maps, but there is a third-party plugin available that extends PRO to now allow you to specify latitude/longitude in your coordinates: http://wordpress.org/plugins/event-rocket/Hope that helps to answer your questions! Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantUnfortunately, we can’t provide support for this plugin here. Post over on the WordPress.org forums and someone will help you there. Thanks! 🙂

Participantmagictigger,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m noticing a javascript error when viewing your calendar, which might be the cause of your issue (screenshot). Can you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantdancepapi,
You should be able to access previous versions of the plugin by going to your Downloads page. You’ll notice the dropdown will allow you to select previous versions to download (screenshot).johnmeredith,
Please start a new thread so we can help you separately with your issue. Thanks! 🙂

Participantplascelles,
You might give this third-party plugin a try to see if it will accomplish what you’re wanting. Let me know if I can help further. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantnybc2014,
We built this site in a subdirectory and I do not think the issue existed before moving the site to the root directory
It might be worth the effort to create a new, fresh install of WordPress in the root directory (or a subdomain) to see if these issues are still occurring. If they are still occurring in a fresh install, then we can narrow it down to issues with your server configuration and/or hosting setup.
We used Velvet Blues Update to change URL’s
I’m not familiar with that plugin, but it might also be worth reaching out to the plugin developer to see if other users have had permalink issues after using it.
A couple of other things I would try:
- Try deleting your .htaccess file and creating a new, empty file and then re-saving your permalinks in WordPress
- If that doesn’t help, reach out to your webhost and see if they might be able to shed some light on why this directory is being created.
Good luck and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantoutsidethecube,
The Community submission form will honor the settings you have chosen for the Events Template option. So, you might try changing that option to see if it resolves the issue you’re having with your theme. I would also try removing some of the Yoast code to see if that does the trick. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantEverything looks fine to me with the snippet you pasted into your functions.php file and it all tested fine in my environment, so I’m not sure why adding that snippet is causing errors in your environment. It could be other plugins, or other code that might be the culprit.
As far as customizing the list widget goes, I unfortunately can’t provide any support for customizations such as this, due to our limited support team.
Sorry I won’t be able to help much more than that, but please let me know if you have other questions. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantCan you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further.

ParticipantDaniella,
Just login to your Tribe Account and go to your License Keys page. You can temporarily disconnect your production site from receiving updates, which should enable your development site to receive updates. Hope that helps! Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantThis is probably due to some custom queries that the theme might be using in page.php, but without looking at the code that’s just my best guess. You could try using the Default Events Template to see if that fixes your issue. Just go to ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and select ‘Default Events Template’ for the Events Template option.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, then I’d encourage you to reach out to your theme developer to see why that particular post is getting pulled in for the page template.
Thanks! 🙂
