Participantsfbike,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m indeed seeing this issue in my local environment, and have created a ticket for our developers to investigate further. I’ll keep you updated here when I have more information. Thanks for being patient, and stay tuned! Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantDaniella,
I suspect that this is due to a conflict with your theme or some other issue with this WordPress install. I would suggest trying to create a dev environment where you can switch themes, update plugins, and deactivate items in order to troubleshoot issues like this further. Once you’ve set that up, then we can investigate further without worrying about affecting your production site. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantThanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂

Participantdancepapi,
Sorry for the issues here, but I guess I’m not sure I’m understanding your issue clearly. When you create a new recurring event in 3.5.1 what exactly is happening? It should be creating an event series that will repeat based on the recurrence pattern that you specify. You might see what appears to be duplicates (screenshot), but clicking ‘Edit All’ will allow you to edit the entire series of recurring events.Sorry for not understanding clearly, but If you could walk me through the issue in a bit more detail, then that will allow me to troubleshoot further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantpetemichaud,
Can you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. Give that a try and let me know what you discover. While I wish I could say that the plugin seamlessly integrates with every theme and plugin out there, the reality is that custom themes and third-party plugins have so many settings/options that it would be nearly impossible for us to account for all of those.
Have you taken a look at our themer’s guide and Documentation to see if any of your questions have been covered in there? If you still have further questions, we’d be glad to help where we can.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantDaniella,
When I login and go to your widgets page, I’m seeing the following javascript errors: http://grab.by/vUGyI would recommend deactivating those plugins and see if you still have this issue. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantKris,
Oh no! I hope everything is all right now. Regarding the duplicate event issue, this is unfortunately a side effect with a bug in the upgrade process in version 3.5 that we patched in 3.5.1. If your server was interrupted during the upgrade process, some of your recurring events were left “un-converted” to the new recurrence format that we’re using.Unfortunately the only fix for this is to do one of the following:
- Either revert to a backup (data & files) from pre 3.5, and then upgrade directly from 3.4.1 to 3.5.1.
- Or manually delete all duplicate events and re-create
Again, so sorry for the inconvenience that this issue caused, and let us know if we can help answer any further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantgroberts23,
You can pass a start date using a format like this: /events/?action=tribe_list&tribe_paged=1&tribe-bar-date=2014-04-01, however we don’t currently support an end date. I hope that helps to answer your question, but let me know if I can assist further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantinmiowa,
Would you mind starting a new thread, so we can help you with your issue separately? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantpetemichaud,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m seeing several other javascript errors when visiting your site: http://grab.by/vTgo. Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂

April 9, 2014 at 5:43 am in reply to: date picker does not work correctly with statpress visitors enabled :( any idea? #129943Casey
ParticipantTigger,
I would encourage you to reach out to the Statpress Visitors developer, as we’re unable to provide support for third party plugins.by the way, how did you investigate “my” javascript editor?
On Chrome for Windows, just press CTRL + SHIFT + J to open the inspector, and on Mac press CMD + OPT + J.
Hope that helps! 🙂

ParticipantDaniella,
I would still suggest that you deactivate other plugins, as it seems something is conflicting with PRO. After you’re able to do that, report back and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
Casey
Participantdancepapi,
Yes it should, but as always, perform a complete backup (data and files) before updating any plugins. Let me know if you run into any issues after updating. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
