    dirkschrama,
    While I wish I could say that the plugin seamlessly integrates with the styles of every theme out there, the reality is that custom themes have so many settings/options that it would be nearly impossible for us to account for all of those. Since it looks like you’re all set here, I’m going to close this thread out, but feel free to create a new thread if you have further questions. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    John,
    Deactivating the other plugins resolved all of the javascript errors. I am noticing the styling errors that you mentioned, but was able to resolve them by doing a few things:

    1) I removed the ‘width:250px’ rule for ‘.tribe-events-calendar th’ that you set in your style overrides
    2) I added the following style ‘#tribe-events-content table.tribe-events-calendar’:

    #tribe-events-content table.tribe-events-calendar {
    width:100%;
    }

    After doing this, I was able to successfully view the calendar in desktop mode (screenshot) and responsive mode (screenshot).

    So, give those steps a try and you should be able to resolve the problem. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Mike,
    It looks like your best bet would be to install a third-party widget that will allow you to list the Events Category taxonomy. A quick search brought up this one: http://wordpress.org/plugins/list-custom-taxonomy-widget/

    After installing that, I configured it in one of my sidebars (screenshot) and it now displays all of my Event Categories on the front-end of my site (screenshot).

    Hopefully that will do the trick for you. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    John,
    Yes, jquery-resize is being loaded by our plugin, but often times there can be conflicts with other javascript that is loaded by third-party plugins, which is why I was asking you to go ahead and try that troubleshooting step of deactivating other plugins.

    Events Calendar PRO uses a combination of Javascript and CSS to switch to “responsive mode” when displaying at a width of less than 768 pixels. So, we really need to get to the bottom of this javascript error in order to resolve things.

    Are you seeing those same errors on this staging site? http://bestofnj.staging.wpengine.com/events/month

    Yes I am. Can you again try deactivating all other plugins on the staging site (and leave them deactivated), so I can check for conflicts? I suspect it might be something going on with Jetpack, but I’m not 100% sure what the culprit might be.

    I also see that you’re running the Canvas theme, which has had many compatibility problems with other users (see this thread), so it’s quite possible that there is some conflicting javascript in the theme, which is causing the responsive issues. If that’s the case, then you might need to reach out to the theme developer to troubleshoot further.

    Just let me know when you’ve got all of the other plugins deactivated in staging, and I’ll investigate further. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    loudermedia,
    Thanks for getting in touch! In order to troubleshoot this, I’ll actually need to see a site running with your theme in place, so I can inspect the HTML and CSS further. Can you share a link with me once you get something up and running? Thanks! πŸ™‚

    nightmix,
    Thanks for getting in touch! While I wish I could say that the plugin seamlessly integrates with every other third party plugin out there, the reality is that there are so many that it would be nearly impossible for us to account for all of them.

    If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin.

    Finally, if having Additional Fields is crucial to your site, then I would recommend using the built-in functionality provided by the PRO plugin (Events->Settings->Additional Fields), as this is supported by the Community Add-on and will work without any customization needed.

    I hope that helps to point you in the right direction, but please let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Mike,
    Thanks for reaching out! The simplest way to achieve this would be to do the following:

    1. In the WordPress Dashboard, go to ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and select ‘List’ for your Default view.
    2. Then go to ‘Events->Event Categories’ in the Dashboard, and click ‘View’ underneath the name of the event that you’d like to Export to iCal (screenshot).
    3. Scroll all the way down and you’ll see the iCal button at the bottom of the page (screenshot)
    4. Repeat for other Event Categories

    That should do the trick for you, but let me know if I’m misunderstanding something, or if you have further questions. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Wolf,
    Thanks for getting in touch! I’m not sure if we currently offer purchases via PayPal anymore, but shoot us an email at pro(at)tri.be (don’t forget to reference this thread!) and someone there can let you know for sure if that’s a possibility. Thanks! πŸ™‚
