MemberHello dynamiccreation,
Thanks for contacting us.
Recurring events in PRO can handle really complicated patterns. The ‘Recurrence Description’ is just the label for your pattern, the actual pattern is handled above it.
If you select ‘Custom’ in the Recurrence section, you will be able to enter really complex patterns. As long as the events are during the same hourly time period, you should be able to create *just* about anything. Not everything, but it can handle very complex situations.
Is there a specific pattern I can help you figure out?
Cheers!

MemberHello vancouverfamily,
Thanks for contacting us. As far as I know, there is no direct way to manipulate those results. You may try contacting Google, but I doubt they would help.
Maybe an SEO plugin would help, or using a sitemap with Google Webmaster can control those results a bit. That goes beyond the scope of these forums though, and SEO is pretty much an art (never really a science). Your mileage may vary.
If nothing else, there may be a work around. If you add back the events so that users will get to it from Google, you can leave a large message or alert explaining the situation. As far as I can tell, that would be the only situation where you would have full control.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

MemberHello churchinthepines,
Thanks for contacting us! This is really bizarre! The best I can tell, is that the time advances to UTC +0 Time (4 hours ahead of you).
I’m not sure why this though. Just to confirm, you have deactivated all plugins AND switched to Twentytwelve at the same time? If you create a recurring event like this does the same thing happen?
In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

MemberHello dhardy,
Thanks for contacting us! From what I can tell it looks like it is working well!
What you are seeing is by design. When the page loads, the widget shows the next ‘x’ amount of events, as you define in the widget. Recurring events, that fall within the ‘upcoming’ period get shown as a single event on the first available day (today) and then repeated events are ignored.
Does that make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberHello fiberartnow,
Thanks for contacting us! From what I can tell, your map view is working great! Can you show me examples of specific events that don’t show?
I think it may seem like they are not on the Map view, because it only show a certain number of events at a time. If you click ‘Next Events’ you will see that map changes to show 10 different venues than before.
You can change the number of events shown on one page in the WP-Admin > Events Settings > General tab. The first setting is the one to change.
Hi Tony,
Thank you for posting! In this forum we try to keep our threads focused on just one user’s problem. This ensures that we are addressing your specific problem instead of a general group one, and not possibly missing anything unique your situation.
To that end, would you mind opening up a new topic here about your issue? If you could please detail in your own words exactly what your problem is (instead of just linking here), that will go a long way towards helping you get this issue resolved as fast as possible. I hope you understand our reasoning here and do not mind this extra step, we have just found it serves our users best.Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!
