Reoccurance Description doesn't do anything…

Hi there
I need to put in events that do not reoccur like clockwork at the same time each month. The Reoccurance description seems like it is built to do something about this, where I just put in the date range. But there is no way to disable the frequency settings that are just above it. Is it possible that reoccurance is only possible with a regular, clockwork schedule and if I don’t have that, I can’t use the awesome month calender view? I have the latest version and I am really excited about it as a feature for my new website as a training company. I would be happy to just put in a whole range of dates manually – it is taking HOURS to try to get it to work.

Thanks for contacting us.

Recurring events in PRO can handle really complicated patterns. The ‘Recurrence Description’ is just the label for your pattern, the actual pattern is handled above it.

If you select ‘Custom’ in the Recurrence section, you will be able to enter really complex patterns. As long as the events are during the same hourly time period, you should be able to create *just* about anything. Not everything, but it can handle very complex situations.

Is there a specific pattern I can help you figure out?

Additionally, if there is no pattern (it isn’t recurring) it may be best to just create individual events and give them the same category.

Thanks for your response. I will need to set up as seperate events, for it to appear on the calendar, but can I do it in a way that it does not appear under every month on the list as a separate event? This is essentially the outcome I am hoping for.

On the Edit Event page, there is a ‘Hide From Event Listings’ option that should get you what you want. *Maybe*
