    Howdy groeteke,

    That certainly sounds off. Thanks for detailing everything you’ve tried thus far. Would you mind sharing a link to the venue in question? When you say it works while viewed in a separate browser window what do you mean? Do you mean opening the same URL in anew windows, perhaps the Incognito mode, makes it work properly?

    Cheers!

    Thank you for reaching out Raklamebo. I just added you to the list of users affected. We will definitely fix this, thought I do not have an ETA. If you need a fix right now I would strongly recommend upgrading to Event Tickets Plus, which is free for users of WooTickets like yourself. WooTickets is in its final months and will soon be completely discontinued in favor of Event Tickets Plus which does everything WooTickets does and more.

    Please let me know if you have any questions. We will get back to you once an update is out for WoOTickets that patches this.

    Cheers!

    Howdy TJ,

    I would love to help you with this.
    <div class=”bbp-topic-content”>

    We have a number of events that occur over a number of days and occasionally span a weekend, such as Friday, Monday, Tuesday. We also have events on the weekend, so we can’t just display weekdays. Can you suggest a way other that putting the same event everyday on the calendar?

    We also occasionally have an event over the course of two months, such as 3 days in June and then 2 more days in July. The issue is that we have no easy way to display this without putting them in on each day and then only allowing them to register via the first date. Can you suggest any better way to handle this?

    </div>
    It sounds like recurring events would work the way you want. It allows you to contain multiple events inside a single series, and thus any registration for it will apply for all dates. If you have an event for three days in June set that up, then add the two days in July as another recurrence, perhaps as single date occurences. More detail can be found here: PRO Recurring Events

    One more related issue is that we allow people to register up until the day before. Your system allow them to register all the way through so we have to manually remove our registration link. Any suggestions on that?

    I am assuming you are using Event Tickets  for the registration. If so the End Sale field that appears when you add a ticket/RSVP allows you to specify the last date that a user san signup. Simply set this to the date you need and sales should discontinue at that time.

    Does that all make sense? Did  that work for you? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Howdy Tac,

    I am sorry for the belated followup, I was on vacation for a few days.

    This does look doable as a snippet. Basically we wound want to unhook Tribe__Events__Community__Tickets__Main::calculate_cart_fees() from ‘woocommerce_cart_calculate_fees’ . From there we could add our own hook, which implements an alternate version of Tribe__Events__Community__Tickets__Cart . I have been approved to take an extra couple hours to see if this can be built and tested within a reasonable timeframe. I will get back to you by Friday to let you know how it’s going. Until then please let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!

    Yeah I that’s a good idea. There should be no harm in removing those and it should cause the imports to happen when you expect. Did that work?

    Thanks for taking the time to reach out about this as well Dennis. I see you all have commented on Uservoice too, which I really appreciate.

    I hope y’all don’t min, I am going to archive this topic since an answer was marked correct and the thread thus resolved. If anyone else chances upon this I implore you to vote on Uservoice as well. We review it every week and it is the primary way we track user demand for features.

    That sounds like a good plan Jared. Our threads automatically stay open for 2 weeks from the last response, so feel free to take your time! And if I can help along the way let me know.

    Well that’s odd. Would you mind temporarily installing a third party plugin to help diagnose this? WP Crontrol once installed has this screen. What does your shows? Does it perhaps show a 10 minute import and a monthly one? Or just the 10 minute one?

    I think this might relate to a known bug in 4.1.4+ where settings do not always save, even though they should. That is set to to be patched in 4.2.1 as well.

    Howdy Chris,

    I would love to help you with this.

    You can certainly import from multiple Facebook organizations. However, you would have to manually assign a category to the imported events if you wanted them to have one. Facebook events will not have categories by default. To make this easier you might could set automatically imported events to drafts, That way before they appear on your site you will need to to hit the publish button. Before hitting publish you bulk edit the events to add categories, then publish them.

    Does that all make sense? Does that sound like it will work for you? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    That might explain part of the issue. No the link is the main events page is not meant to hide when there are no upcoming events. In fact we do no actually add the link to the main events page anywhere on your site, you have to add it yourself commonly inside of WP Admin > Appearance > Menus. Have you not added the link on your live site? Could you double check that a link appears in in there on your live site?

    Cheers!
