MemberHello,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
I took a look at your site and the Widget is loading fine. It is just the Spinner Image causing the issue.
You have this css in your theme:
.tribe-events-event-thumbimg, img {
display: block !important;
margin-left: auto !important;
margin-right: auto !important;
}That is causing the spinner to show all the time.
The date for the current date is also caused from css in the theme.
I noticed you are using the Enfold Theme. The developer includes their own coding for the Events Calendar and in their forums they may have a solution for both of these css issues.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHello,
Sorry for the issues you are having. Thanks for using out plugins.
The filter bar is not necessary for the location search, but javascript is.
I took a look at your site and seeing a couple errors in the console:
TypeError: $(…).carousel is not a function
It is coming from this file:
http://ridesandraces.com/wp-content/themes/gdvintage/elements/lib/js/elements.js?ver=4.0
Also getting this error:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
See if fixing those two issues solves it.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks
November 5, 2014 at 4:39 pm in reply to: Can your calendar import events from Google Calendar? #863023Brian
MemberHi, Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
We do not have a Google Calendar Importer. We do have a CSV importer. I am not sure if this is possible, but if you could transfer the events to a spreadsheet you could then import them using the csv importer.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
November 5, 2014 at 4:37 pm in reply to: Adding Recurring Events with different descriptions #863009Brian
MemberThanks for purchasing the Events Calendar Pro.
I can help you out here.
Should I add our hot lunch add a recurring event and then just edit each one individually or should I just manually add each lunch every week or is there a better way?
I would create it as a Recurring Event if all the times are the same and the title can remain the same since you would only have to enter that once. Then you could edit the different days to change the hot lunch and that is all you would have to change. That would break them out of the recurrence then, but that to me looks like the least amount of work to get this done.
Does that make sense?
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberWe do not really have a place to notify people of updates. But you could sign up for our newsletter, there is a sing up form at the bottom of the page:

I will leave this ticket open for a couple days or more. I will post here again to let you know when I close it.
Thanks

MemberGreat, glad it is working and it was just a translation issue.
If you would like to recommend a change to the translation can you please post that in our Translation Forum:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/contribute/translation/
I am going to go ahead and close this ticket as the plugin is working, but if you need any other on something else please post a new ticket.
Thanks!

MemberHello,
I can help with your question.
I am looking to purchase a calendaring plugin that will let me sell tickets to a training event with limited seating, so I need to be able to have a countdown on seats left. Can the Pro version do this?
The Pro version does not have this feature. We do have our 4 ticking add on’s that may help for this. You could sell tickets to an event and use that as your seats as it has stock levels per ticket. Our system is not too complex though so I would recommend viewing our New User Primer for WooCommerce Tickets to see all the features it offers just to make sure it will work for you.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/wootickets-new-user-primer/
All the ticking add ons are similar there is no major features separating them. I would recommend the one that add ons to the eCommerce plugin you prefer.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
November 5, 2014 at 2:34 pm in reply to: Multiple events pages with only certain categories shown? #862795Brian
MemberHi Rudy,
Thanks for the Interest in the Events Calendar Pro.
I can help you out here. We do have Event Categories built in with their own views. So for example if you have a category conventions and sub category of barbecue call concert you have urls that look like this:
http://www.gocorptech.com/events/category/barbecue/concert/
http://www.gocorptech.com/events/category/convention/
Each of those pages shows the different calendar views (month, list, day, week, etc), but just for those categories.
That is built in with no setup, just need to create your categories.
The events slug in those able to be changed, but the category cannot be changed.
You can see the Category System in the Free Version of the Plugin as well, which is the core plugin for Pro.
Does that answer your questions? Let me know if you have any follow ups?
Thanks
Brian
MemberHow strange.
I changed my site to German and it is working for me. I do not think Shared Hosting is the issue either. That would prevent the plugin from even working.
So to confirm you you are editing a single event and there is no box like this in there:

Also, is EDD all setup for you or have you gone through the basic sets to get it running?
If it is still not working, can you follow these steps to setup debug:
WordPress Debug
Please follow the steps in the WordPress Debug Codex in the Example wp-config.php for Debugging section:http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Please place that coding and load events to edit in the admin and then check the error log and see if there are any errors.
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks

MemberHi,
You should see the Venues and Organizers (underlined in red) in the Menu on the left such as this:

let me know if you do not see those and we can have you do some conflict testing.
Thanks

MemberOk ulriklund, thanks for the vote. I agree it is something that would add value to your plugins. I know we are working on adding it I just do not have a timeline for it.
For feature requests it is usually better to suggest them though our UserVoice Account here:
Thanks again for the information and….
websitecenter, let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
I can help you out here.
Is the Event Published and says scheduled? What is the Date in the Publish Box? If that is beyond the current time then the event will not be published and is scheduled instead.
Set the date either the current time or before today and then you should be able to Publish it instead of Schedule it.
The Calendar uses the Event Start Date and Time and not the publish time to show everything.
Let me know if this helps or we are not talking about the same thing.
Thanks
