ParticipantHello, When I create a recurring Event, it sells the same ticket. For example a Recurring event “General Admission” sells the same ticket no matter what day in the calendar is selected.
The first “General Admission” event was created for Oct the 31st.
The General Admission event is set up as a recurring event, every thursday, friday, saturday and friday.
If I try to buy a General Admission ticket for Nov 28 by clicking on Nov 28 in the calendar, after the purchase is done, I receive a ticket for October the 31st, and a attendee is added on October the 31 not on Nov 28.
This is because the recurring events are tied in to the same product which is the ticket. I need a recurring event to create a different product ticket for every single day specifically.
Is this possible?
Do I need a different plug in to have this work the way I want it?Thank you for your help

MemberHi websitecenter and ulriklund,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can answer your questions about the Tickets and Recurring Events.
This is because the recurring events are tied in to the same product which is the ticket. I need a recurring event to create a different product ticket for every single day specifically. Is this possible?
Sorry if you missed this, but on the product page we state that Recurring Events are not supported by any of our ticketing Add Ons.
So unfortunately, if that is what you are looking to do, you will have to individually add a Ticket to Each Event in the Recurring Series, which also breaks the series as you have to edit each event.
We are working on adding this feature, but I do not have a timeline for its release and I do not have a way for you to add that to your site with a snippet.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

ParticipantYes I have read that. I saw this post as a request for a new feature, so I just wanted to add my wote.
This is something that forces me to search for other options in event handling. I am not writing this as a thread, I merely wish to give you the opportunity to fullfill this requirement as I think there must be many businesses with the same needNovember 5, 2014 at 11:46 am #862605Brian
MemberOk ulriklund, thanks for the vote. I agree it is something that would add value to your plugins. I know we are working on adding it I just do not have a timeline for it.
For feature requests it is usually better to suggest them though our UserVoice Account here:
Thanks again for the information and….
websitecenter, let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

ParticipantThank you for your prompt response. I will manage tickets independently.
Could you please let me know when the requested feature gets release?
Also, could you leave this ticket open for 2 days in case I have a related question. If no response in 2 days, we close?Thank you

MemberWe do not really have a place to notify people of updates. But you could sign up for our newsletter, there is a sing up form at the bottom of the page:
https://theeventscalendar.com/about/contact/
I will leave this ticket open for a couple days or more. I will post here again to let you know when I close it.
Thanks
