MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having with EDD Tickets. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
So when you go to Events > Add New on the Event Edit Page there is no Ticket Meta Box for you?
Can you check if on the Screen Options (on the top right of the Edit Page) that Tickets is checked on the Show on screen Options.
Let me know about those two.
Also, have you reviewed our New User Primer for EDD Tickets and see if everything is setup correctly:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/edd-tickets-new-user-primer/
Let me know and we can go from there.
Thanks

There is no Ticket option there :/Looks like something with the installation didn’t work?
Thanks

MemberOk lets check the plugins first to make sure they are active.
I know this is pretty simple, but trying to verify it before trying the harder troubleshooting.
Please go to your sites admin, then to Plugins Page and verify that these two are active:
Easy Digital Downloads
The Events Calendar: EDD TicketsLet me know if those are active.
If they are not please active them.
If active, please try deactivating them and then reactivating and check if that changes anything.
Event Settings
Please check the events settings and see if the EDD Tickets License field is showing on this page:Events > Settings > License Tab
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks

MemberOk, thank you for verifying that information.
Please follow our Testing For Conflicts Guide and see if that can help narrow down the conflict:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/
Also on this page:
Events > Help
Please provide the information in this box “System Information” in a Private Reply.
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.

ParticipantThanks, i’ll deactivate all other plugins now and see if that helps

Participantdisabling all other plugins didn’t help. Starting to suspect that it could be somehow related to the shared server hosting we’re using? or that we use a german wordpress installation?
November 5, 2014 at 7:45 am #862206fablabwinti
Participantsame issue on a different shared hosting service and website (also german installation though)
November 5, 2014 at 12:02 pm #862624Brian
MemberHow strange.
I changed my site to German and it is working for me. I do not think Shared Hosting is the issue either. That would prevent the plugin from even working.
So to confirm you you are editing a single event and there is no box like this in there:

Also, is EDD all setup for you or have you gone through the basic sets to get it running?
If it is still not working, can you follow these steps to setup debug:
WordPress Debug
Please follow the steps in the WordPress Debug Codex in the Example wp-config.php for Debugging section:http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Please place that coding and load events to edit in the admin and then check the error log and see if there are any errors.
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
strange, in the picture you posted the header says “Karten”, which is Maps in english … the text talks about adding a picture for the header.
It doesn’t say anything about a Ticket? So the problem is the german installation?
November 5, 2014 at 1:58 pm #862753fablabwinti
ParticipantOk, it is “just” a translation issue … Tickets is translated as “Karten” which threw me off .. it’s working after all 🙂

MemberGreat, glad it is working and it was just a translation issue.
If you would like to recommend a change to the translation can you please post that in our Translation Forum:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/contribute/translation/
I am going to go ahead and close this ticket as the plugin is working, but if you need any other on something else please post a new ticket.
Thanks!
