Thanks for using our plugins and thinking of using them again.
The Recurring Event system works just as you remember it and not sure that will ever change as the whole system is designed around doing that.

Thanks for using the Events Calendar. We do not have a Registration or Sign Up Feature. We have our ticketing plugins, but they are limited in what they can do and do take customization to add more fields you would need for a registration.
I have found this plugin that might be useful for sign ups:

You maybe to get that to work with the version of the Events Calendar you already have.

I can help you out here. Those two fields display on every event page without conditions.
If you want to add text to the Calendar view we have the themer’s guide that will show you how to move templates to your theme for editing safely:

That will show you how to find the Calendar(month) View templates and move the one you want to edit to add the text to.

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot them with you.
I visited your site and see what you mean there are Events, but not showing in the Widgets.
Do you have any of those events recurring and set to hide the recurrence?
Also, if you create a new test event does it show?
What happens if you remove and resave the widgets in a different order? Perhaps in the first column of that footer area or on a sidebar if you have one?

MemberThat plugin was to do a manual export of your events to a csv file and not a ics file. It has nothing to do with timely’s export features, it would all be setup in that plugin.
That is about all we can recommend, we do not have a set method to export from a 3rd party and import into our calendar.

Please email us your order number for Community Events purchase you just made and let them know you cannot download the latest version.
It looks like the system is still only detecting your old Community Events license which expired in 2013 so it is not letting you download the latest.

MemberI am glad to see it is partially working. Not sure why the url is being changed like that on your site. I have not seen that on other sites, but will be on the look out for it in the future.
