MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I am unable to troubleshoot issues on the Pre Sales Forum.
Please post in the Support Forum on WordPress.org for the Events Calendar.
It does sound like a theme issue with the css and the text is being set to white so it is hidden. It is hard to say what the issue is without looking at the site though.
Thanks

MemberHi,
We are working on improving the checkin process, but I have do have a timeline when that might be released.
You could try using the User Role Editor and the Adminimize to create a role that only has attendee access.
You can start by coping the Admin role in User Role Edit, then removing capabilities that are not needed. It would take some trial and error to figure that out.
Then use Adminimize you can hide all the admin areas of the site you do not want them to have access to.
Another Option
Or you could again use the User Role Editor, create a new admin role, then skip changing capabilities and just use Adminimize to hide everything from them, but the Events Section.Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. My answers are below:
Front End Submission: Is there a possibility for creating a submission charge?
There is no feature with Community Events to do this, but you could setup a membership system to do this, but that is not something we can support.
Venues: Can the Venues get pimped up? Images, more detail, contact info, tabs? Can I control who gets to insert or edit venues (using user role & capabilities like in with the events manager plugin)
It has it’s own capabilities registered in WordPress, there is no featured image, but there is a content editor you can add information to.
BuddyPress: After scrolling around, I learned that your plugin does gel yet with BP. How many votes does it take for this to happen? I need the event to show up in the BP profile. Will the person be able to access their events via the BP login?
We do not have any immediate plans to add more features to integrate with BP.
Can the ‘organiser’ dropdown in front end submission be disabled so people can’t submit events under someone else’s name?
Yes you can disable that using our themer’s guide to remove the fields:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Event Owner: I can’t see any mentions of event organisers/owners on event posts. I would need it to be more info rich as the people behind the events (public speakers and teachers) need to sell themselves with their credentials before selling their event. Ideally it would lead to a profile (which can be done in BP)
This is not a feature we have, it could be possible with a customization on your end.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. An Event once the End Date and Time has passed will be removed from the Calendar and go to the Past Events Section.
I am unable to troubleshoot this on the Pre Sales Forum can you please post your issue on the WordPress.org Forum for the Events Calendar.
Thanks
Brian
MemberOk it should be loading automatically from the Community Events Form.
Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide and see if that can narrow down where the issue is coming from:
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks
Brian
MemberNot sure why it would not be working. I am limited in being able to troubleshoot customizations.
However, I an answer questions.
The Start time is included in this field: _EventStartDate
Same with the end time in this: _EventEndDate
Those include both the date and time.
Brian

MemberThat is strange.
I just tried on my test site on the Editor Role and it worked again.
Are you able to try with another theme or on another site and see if that resolves it?
Brian
MemberI have not used that theme so not I cannot make a recommendation. I would look at the comments and other reviews and see what people say about it.
Brian
MemberSince this is marked resolved I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

MemberHi tutinom,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
I am limited in the support I can provide on Theme Compatibility issues. I can help narrow down the problem, but may not be able to provide coding to resolve the issue.
I took a look at your site and the Filter worked for me.
However, I did see this error that maybe causing issues.
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.

Line 60If you are still having issues after fixing that it is best to start a new ticket so we can help you one on one. However, if you post back here I can help out too.
Thanks
Brian
