Map Sync

For some reason, the new events I’m publishing are not syncing to the main map? The addresses are correct and I can see the proper location on the event page, but they are not showing up on the main map under my Find an Event section. This just started happening and I can’t figure out why. I have it set to display up to 2,000 events and I only have uploaded around 35. Please help…

I think I figured out the problem. The address needs to be exact as it is noted in Google Maps. It looks like the individual who posted after me is experiencing a similar problem. Maybe google did an update to their map system overnight, as this is the first time I’ve experienced it.

Sorry for the issues you are having.

We get those coordinates from Google directly after sending them the address, however, sometimes Google has issues. Usually it is outside of the U.S., but can happen anywhere.

We are working to integrate a feature to modify the coordinates and hope to have that in an upcoming release.

In the mean time if you check out the Event Rocket:

Event Rocket

It has the ability to modify coordinates if Google and our plugin cannot get it right with the address.
