    Hi

Currently the only methods to show events outside of the main views are the widgets and a shortcode for the mini calendar:

    [tribe_mini_calendar]

You can find some instructions for that shortcode using this link.

We are working on adding more shortcodes to display more of the widgets and then some of the calendar views, but I do not have a timeline for their release.

There is a free unofficial plugin created by our developers that does have some different shortcodes that might help out, it is called Event Rocket:

    Event Rocket

It also has a method to display the main calendar on the homepage too.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Thanks for confirming that.

I visited your site and see what you mean.

The Filter Bar is there, but css is hiding it.

So I am seeing this css:

    .tribe-filters-closed .tribe-events-filters-content {
    display: none !important;
    }

In this file on line 5407:

    http://melbournemagicfestival.com/website/wp-content/themes/gazette/style.css

There looks to be a lot of extra Events CSS there that is causing styling issues as well with the filter bar because it does not format correctly.

I would try removing that to see if that helps.

Also, we try to help out on theme compatibility issues, but are limited in resolving them. We can point to where issues are, but unable to provide all the coding needed to fix the issues.

    Thanks

Ok hopefully Andy can help out.

As for the license if you already have a Pro license and would like another then upgrading to Business is the best deal. You can another year for the license starting from the day you upgrade and you only have to pay the difference of what you paid for the Personal compared to the Business license. You can upgrade from your account as well following these steps:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/upgrading-a-license/

If you are looking to purchase licenses of other add ons and only need one it is best to start with the Personal License and you could always upgrade later.

We do not offer any bundle discounts or bonuses for existing customers except on renewals, but if you sign up for our newsletter we send out coupons through that.

    Thanks

The tickets have registration system qualities like you describe with the attendees list.

However, it is closer to a movie ticketing system then a registration system.

As the ticketing plugins work, if someone would purchase 3 tickets they are all under their name in the attendees list. Also, there is no way to get more information and include it in the attendees list.

So if you are looking just to track tickets and total numbers the system works great if you need to go beyond that it is not quite there yet.

We are looking to do a beta soon on more advanced registration features if you are interested please email us at [email protected]

    Thanks

    Great glad it helps.

It is possible to add ads to events, but not a feature we support you can check out our themer’s guide on how to make modifications and add them that way:

    Sorry for the confusion.

All the features of each plugin are unique to the plugin itself. So as you found out to use Pro features of recurring events and additional fields with Community Events you have purchase both plugins.

Since this is marked resolved I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks

in reply to: Adding a Sidebar to my calendar page? #954729

Ok, changing the default template to Page is usually the only way to resolve this without doing code customization.

If you cannot get it to work there you can follow our themer’s guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

To edit the event templates and add a sidebar that way.

Glad you found the source. I think it is ok to post it here.

It looks like it is coming from this plugin:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook/

However, I could not find it directly in the coding on WordPress.org it is possible it is vulnerable and someone is using that to add this SPAM coding.

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in Recurring Events.

We do not have a way to blackout or skip dates.

Once a recurring series is created though you can go in and delete select dates of the series that you do not want it to display on.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

How does Shopp handle free products? The tickets should follow that. If price is zero the usually behavior is to not send data to a payment processor as there is nothing to process. What does Shopp say about that in their documentation?

Can you provide the exact error message and I will see if I can find something out on our end, but since we do not modify the payment process not sure what we can do.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

You are correct you have to purchase both Pro and Community Events to have recurring events in Community Events.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks
