    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

We are seeing some reports of this issue, but have yet to reproduce the error to find a solution.

Can you please confirm you have setup the app following these steps:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-eb-tickets/

Also confirm the site url is the same for the Application URL and OAuth Redirect URI

What I mean is if your site is http://www.yoursite.com that should be in both those urls and not one being http://www.yoursite.com and the other http://yoursite.com

    Import URL
The url now look something like this from Eventbrite:

    https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nawbo-slc-quarterly-workshop-wbrook-lyons-hosted-by-wells-fargo-tickets-13803190715

All you need to import is the number on the end so in this case:

    13803190715

    Query Monitor
If that does not help can you load Query Monitor:

Query Monitor – The developer tools panel for WordPress

Then try to import an event and take a screenshot of the output.

You may see http errors on other pages for Eventbrite, but those should not be causing this issue as I am see them as well, but the Import and Event creation is working.

I use Awesome Screenshot for Chrome and Firefox to take a full page screenshot.

Let me know what you find out and you can do it in a private reply as well.

    Thanks

Can I create a temporary admin account for you to see for yourself?

    I appreciate the offer.

However, our current policy is not to accept logins or to log in to customer servers/WordPress installations.

Unfortunately, the old plugin does not work due to a change by Eventbrite.

Can you follow those instructions above and see if you get any error messages or removing the www helps?

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.

So it happens when you have a event that runs multiple days and try to turn it to a recurring event?

But not on recurring events initially created?

What if those new recurring events are on multiple days? Do those work?

In 3.10 we added some new coding to better process recurring events in batches. That sounds like it might help in this instance.

It is not released yet, but it is in beta if you would like to try it out.

    Let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I had one of our developers take a look and he does not believe there is much we can do to optimize this. Trying to load all the unique venues on a map takes time and it does a decent job of it now, but he is not sure we can make enough gains to really improve it. It is something we can look into, but I do not have a timeline when that might happen.

In the meantime I visited your site today and see you are just showing U.S. events.

What if you used the event categories to separate the events by geographic region? Then you could link to North America, Europe, Australia, etc and it would show events in that region. You could even follow our themer’s guide and put a link above the map to each category view of the map to make it easy for people to find. This way instead of showing 120+ events you can show a smaller number in an area that a visitor is interested in.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

I took a look at your site and did not see the search bar so could not verify the results.

However, we do not have features to narrow down the search.

We use WordPress’s search query to get the results.

So what that returns is what we use.

It maybe possible to modify that in WordPress, but that is beyond the support we can provide.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hello Again,

I can try to help you get in the right direction here.

We do not have a feature to change urls like that in the plugin.

The best way to achieve that would be through rewrite rules in the htaccess file.

    Or through WordPress’s wp_rewrite:

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Rewrite

We do not have anything else to provide on something like this unfortunately.

    Cheers

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

I loaded up that plugin and did not get those messages and checked and the plugin did add the meta tags.

Our plugin by default does not add any of those meta tags those errors are showing.

It is possible it could be added through your theme or another plugin or through a customization of the Events Calendar.

However, checking on my site with Pro active no Facebook Open Graph Tags are added.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hello,

To edit the photo view you will want to follow our themer’s guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

And look to move and edit this file in your theme:

    events-calendar-pro\views\pro\photo\single-event.php

There you can use this function to show the Venue Name:

    <?php echo tribe_get_venue() ?>

Let me know how that works out.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am not sure what you are asking but I can try to help out.

We do have a csv importer. However there is no automated feature in Pro or any of our plugins to import from that.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

I looked up some of my events and nothing is in recurrence for some. I also changed the _EventEndDate field in the database and it showed up in the Event Editor with the change. So it appears that field is the correct one.

If you send me a link to the Gravity Form, form export and what plugin you are using for Gravity forms to create a custom post type I can try it on my end and see what I find out.

However, I am limited in supporting this so may not be able to provide a solution.

    Thank you for the screenshot.

I am not sure if this will change anything, but can you see if changing the application url to

    Home

    And remove the www

It may not help, but we are seeing about a half dozen people with this issue and have yet to find the cause.

If that does not help can you load Query Monitor:

Query Monitor – The developer tools panel for WordPress

Then import an event and take a screenshot of the output.

You may see http errors on other pages for Eventbrite, but those should not be causing this issue as I am see them as well, but the Import and Event creation is working.

I use Awesome Screenshot for Chrome and Firefox to take a full page screenshot.

Sorry Again for the issues we are working on resolving them and any information you can provide will help.
