May 22, 2015 at 11:15 am in reply to: Featured Image Changes in plug-in not being synced with Eventbrite Event #964567
Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues with this.
I looked through the coding and it appears the featured image is no longer synced. I am not sure if this was intentional or a limit of the new API.
I do not have any coding to fix that right now.
I did find if I go to the Event in Eventbrite and on the edit page there is an Event Image and that should edit that main featured image.
Do you find it does not edit it for you?
May 22, 2015 at 11:00 am in reply to: Can you add "tickets available" and "tickets sold" to the event overview page? #964561Brian
MemberHi,
When you mention this
“tickets available” and “tickets sold” as additional columns on the event’s overview page
I am not clear on what page you are referring to, is this in the admin or on the front end? Is that all the tickets for an event or per event?
Let me know and we can go from there.
Thanks
Brian
MemberOk well that custom coding might be part of this.
But as you said here:
Yep, changed the theme and now the filter bar functions normally.
Can you contact Enfold and see if they have coding to remove their changes to fix this? As it appears the plugin is working, but Enfold has coding that we did not create causing the issue.
From this thread in this forum they have a solution that might help:
Brian
MemberThe plugin does create a Category View for each Event Category with the main views of month, list, map, etc…
For example if you have an event category of Lettuce the url is this:
yoursite.com/events/category/lettuce/
So that is one way to show only events from one category in the main views and you can link directly to any of those.
As for excluding categories from a view we have this snippet to help in the month view:
https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/4b215d2b854a6f6cb649
Add that to your theme’s function.php and replace the categories with the one you want to remove.
That should also work on the home page.
Brian
MemberHi,
If you have your Enfold theme active and you do not have the coding to put a dropdowon in the search bar does it work then? You said it mostly works, but I am not sure what that means.
Also, you can contact Enfold and they have coding or a way to disable their extras for the Events Calendar that might help as well, but it could also change how the Events look too.
Cheers
Brian
MemberHow strange I did not get that error.
Are you able to unzip on your computer and ftp it to the plugin directory?
Another option is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has this coding in it:
3.10 is a couple weeks away at best, but with any development there can be delays so I do not have an exact date.
Brian
MemberGreat glad it helps.
I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks

MemberNo news yet and I talked to Rob and Leah about it this week. They did say hopefully starting in a couple weeks, but as with any development that could get pushed back.
Thanks

MemberGreat, that was exactly what I was going to suggest to update to the latest version.
I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.
Thanks!
Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
We are working on releasing a iCal importer for our plugins, but I do not have a timeline for its release.
We do not have any plans to do as your request for Facebook.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins.
I am limited in support custom css modifications, but can try to help out.
For the single event I can provide this:
.single.single-tribe_events .tribe-events-event-meta {
background: #000;
border: none;
}Add that css to your theme’s stylesheet or through a plugin such as Simple Custom CSS.
For the month view it is much more in depth to change the background color and I cannot provide all that css.
We have these two articles about how to make further changes that might help your out:

Cheers!

MemberHi DH,
I am able to visit that page and use the form.
Select Hire Modern Tribe for a Project to send a message if you like.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi Thierry,
Sorry for the issues. I checked out your site and see what you mean.
It looks like maybe extra </div> is in the content of this Event:
Darkroom Photography with Mike Fletcher
See if you can go in the content editor and remove it and see if that helps.
Let me know if that works out.
Thanks
May 21, 2015 at 2:19 pm in reply to: Events calendar plugin keeps changing to a random language in admin area! #964343Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins.
I can help out here.
What is your language set in WordPress on this page of your admin:
Settings > General
The plugin is suppose to use that choice there for the language file.
Let me know and we can go from here.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Those all sound like good features.
I think they could be a little trickier then easy though and could easily cost between $5k to $10k if not more in custom development.
If you are looking for developers we have a list here that might help you out:

Thanks
