Sorry for the issues both of are you having.
First can you check to make sure you do not have any custom templates in your theme in the /tribe-events/ directory.
If you do please remove them.
Even if you do not have custom templates, please run through our 404 Error Guide:
To see if that resolves this.

MemberOh ok thanks for clarifying the are you are trying to do this in.
The Event List Widget is limited to 10 maximum items.
However, the new Event List Widget, which looks the same can accept more then 10.
I tried this and got 15 Events to display using this:
[tribe_events_list limit=”15″]
It is does not work to use -1 and display all the events.

Unfortunately, we do not support WPML compatibility although it is in plans to add that support hopefully in a couple releases from now, but I do not have an exact timeline.
So although it might have worked before due to the refactor in 3.10 it looks it has changed and I do not have a way to fix it through WPML.
I did play around with this coding and got it to work to change the event category slug:

You can change the word events there to something different and you will have to resave permalinks to get this to work.
As for changing the word events, venues, and organizers, we have these filters to help change those:

After making changes you will need to resave permalinks too.

Try out this snippet in your theme’s functions.php.
This is opening the gCal links in new tabs for me:

The iCal links create a file to download and should keep you on the same page so I did not see a reason to open in a new tab as it would open a blank tab.
Are you seeing something else with the iCal button?

Sorry for the issues you are having.
I was not around for the 2.x to 3.x upgrade over two years ago, but the change was a massive overhaul and 2.x templates and functions do not work with 3.x as both templates and functions changed.
Unfortunately, it is a complete a rebuild for the custom changes you made in 2.x to 3.x.

Sorry for the frustrations, but there is a limit in place of 10 by default.
There is a setting you can change here:
Events > Settings > General Tab > “Number of events to show per page”
You can change that to a number you would like.
Also, I encourage you to look at our new user primer for a good overview of our settings and features and how to change them:

It looks like you are not running the latest version of the plugins.
Please confirm all plugins are version 3.10.
If you do not have automatic updates for Pro and WooCommerce Tickets Available you can download the latest versions from your account here.

Having said that, we do not have the ability to split recurring events on two different dates. You can make an event for each Tuesday and Friday and recur those events for the next 24 months, which is the default setting.
